A Report On Simulated Interpreting Of The Conference For Emerging Economies

This is a simulated interpreting practice report on the second plenary session of the Economic Policy Forum for Think Tanks in Emerging Economies 2014. Following an introduction of the task, the report describes the interpreting process and typical difficulties in performing the interpreting task. Based on case analysis, the author proposes solutions in terms of the application of interpreting skills, linguistic aspects and extra-linguistic elements.
