Objective: The goal of this paper is to evaluate the right ventricular function of normal Han population at different altitudes by 256 row spiral CT,to verify the difference in right ventricular function in the normal Han population at different high altitudes.Methods: A total of 60 healthy Han volunteers living in high altitude area were selected from our Medical examination center for cardiac enhanced scan.60 volunteers were divided into three groups according to the altitude,20 cases in each group,male and female were half each group,H1 which an altitude of 2500-2600m;H2 which an altitude of 2900-3200m;H3 which an altitude of 3700-4500 m.All the volunteers were physically healthy without heart and lung disease.They are all the natives of plateau region.General Electric Revolution CT was used for cardiac enhanced scan,two cylinder high-pressure syringe.Using AW4.6 Cardl Q Function Xpress software to obtain right ventricular function parameters including(RVEDV RVESV RVEF RVSV RVCO),manual measure the main pulmonary artery diameter,aortic diameter,main pulmonary artery cross-sectional area,artery cross-sectional area,calculation of the ratio of DMPA/DA and SMPA/SA.Results: There was no significant difference between group H1 and group H2.group H1 and group H3 significant difference parameters including EDV,ESV,SV,CO,DMPA,DMPA/DA,SMPA and SMPA/SA,no significant difference between the parameters including EF.There was no statistical difference in EDV,ESV,SV,CO,EF,DMPA,DMPA/DA and SMPA between group H2 and group H3,and SMPA/SA had statistical difference between group H2 and group H3.Conclusions: In this study,256 row spiral Revolution CT was used to obtain the changes of right ventricular function parameters.It is found that different elevations at high altitude directly affect ESV,EDV,CO,SV,DMPA,DMPA/DA,SMPA and SMPA/SA.As altitude increased,EDV,CO,SV,DMPA,DMPA/DA,SMPA,SMPA/SA gradually increased,ESV gradually decreased,EF had no statistical difference.The results show that 256 row spiral Revolution CT can be used to evaluate the changes of RVF in healthy Han residents at different high altitudes.provide the basis for the research in the effect of chronic hypoxia on RVF,at the same time,which is helpful in the diagnosis of heart and lung system diseases treatment and evaluation of functional in clinical application value in Plateau area.
