Objective: To explore the clinical significance of the changes of CA125,CA19-9 and HE4 in the prognosis and recurrence of ovarian cancer. Methods: This study analyzed 50 cases of ovarian cancer confirmed by surgery and histology at the XX University from January 2010 to October 2014.The ovarian cancer patients were reviewed and recorded the levels of serum CA125,CA19-9,and HE4 before surgery and 1 day after surgery, after 1,2,3,4,5,and 6 cycles of postoperative chemotherapy and 1 and 3 years after completion of the course of chemotherapy. Results: 1.Serum CA125 and HE4 levels in serous ovarian cancer were significantly higher than non-serous;serum CA125,CA19-9,and HE4 levels in stage III to IV ovarian cancer were significantly higher than those in stage Ic to II;The levels of serum CA125 and HE4 were higher in well-differentiated ovarian cancers than in well-differentiated ones.2.The level of serum CA19-9 in the postoperative period was within the normal range. After two chemotherapy courses, the level of HE4 reached the normal range. After three cycles of chemotherapy, serum CA125 levels reached the normal range;the level of serum CA125,CA19-9 and HE4 decreases as treatment increases. The recurrence rate was the lowest in any of two serum CA125,CA19-9,and HE4,and the recurrence rate was greater than or equal to 75%.The recurrence rate was the highest for any two reductions that were less than 25%.Any two reductions were within 25% to 75%.The recurrence rate between the two is between the first two.The sensitivity and specificity of the joint detection of recurrence rate were higher than that of single test at the same rate of decline. The positive rates of CA125 and HE4 in moderate, poorly differentiated, and serous ovarian cancers were significantly higher in CA125 and HE4 after recurrence at 1 year of follow-up than in CA19-9.The positive rate of CA19-9 in ovarian cancers in stage III to IV was higher than that in CA125 and HE4.The sensitivity of serum CA125,CA19-9,HE4 and the combination of the three methods were 50.0%,22.2%,57.9%,88.2%,and the specificity was 78.3%,73.9%,81.8%,95.8%.Conclusions: 1.The possibility of one-year and three-year recurrence rate of patients in the standardized treatment process was predicted based on the combined detection of serum CA125,CA19-9,and HE4.The combined detection of serum CA125,CA19-9,and HE4 in the follow-up of ovarian cancer to predict the recurrence of ovarian cancer has higher sensitivity and specificity than any single test. Therefore,in the clinical work, clinicians can predict the recurrence of ovarian cancer in advance based on the dynamic detection of CA125,CA19-9,HE4 and the combined characteristics of the three.2.According to the biological behavior of ovarian cancer,CA19-9 levels were closely monitored in the follow-up of stage III to IV ovarian cancer, combined with the levels of CA125 and HE4;CA125 and HE4 were monitored during follow-up of serous and low-differentiated ovarian cancer.Changes in characteristics to assess prognosis and recurrence.
