The Etiology Analysis Of 247 Patients With Lower Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Objective To study the pathological factors of lower gastrointestinal bleeding and its pertinent causes about demographic characteristics such as age,sex,and so on.To explore the common causes to lower gastro-intestinal bleeding and related characters.Methods There are 247 selected cases and patients with definitely diagnosed as lower gastro-intestinal bleeding that were chosen as the research samples from April 2011 to July 2017 in Ningxia Medical University General Hospital and the Cardiac Cerebrovascular Disease Hospital of Ningxia Medical University General Hospital.All the samples included 135 males and 112 female and the ratio of two is 1.21:1;The average age was 46.5(ranged from 2 to 91),which there were three groups in accordance with the provisions of the World Health Organization standards,dividing by youth group(<45 years),middle age group(45-59 years old)and elderly group(>60 years).Youth group involved 62 cases(25.1%),middle-aged group involved 81 cases(32.8%),elderly group involved 104 cases(42.1%).Each set of data has its own statistical significance.The number of male patients(56.5%)who were diagnosed as lower gastro-intestinal bleeding was larger than its of female patients(43.5%).The statistical significance of two sets of data mentioned above is null.Results In this study,247 patients,were admitted to Ningxia Medical University hospital treatment line related to be confirmed the existence of lower gastrointestinal bleeding and clear the cause,according to this:1.The crowd above the cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding were colorectal tumors(22.6%),inflammatory bowel disease(12.9%),colorectal polyps(11.7%),intestinal vascular malformations(10.9%),systemic disease(8.1%),trauma or operation(8.1%),nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs associated enteritis(6.9%),radiation enteritis(6.1%),colonic diverticulum(4.9%),obscure gastrointestinal bleeding(4.5%),anaphylactoid purpura(2.4%)and infective enteritis(0.8%).2.The incidence ratio of lower gastrointestinal bleeding among three groups was mostly in the elderly group(42.1%),followed by the middle-aged group(32.8%),the younger group was the least(25.1%),and it shows statistical significant differences(P<0.05)when being compared with the data.Conclusion1.The most common causes of lower gastrointestinal bleeding in turn were colorectal tumors,inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal polyps.2.The LGIB are related to age factors.The most common causes of elderly and middle-aged group to LGIB are colorectal tumors.At the mean time,the most common cause of youth group to LGIB is inflammatory bowel disease.3.We must be vigilant to patients with a history of radiation therapy that there is a LGIB cease called radiation enteritis.
