Objective To explore whether it can increase the number of detected axillary lymph nodes and the positive rate of axillary lymph nodes that the application of carbon nanoparticle in axillary lymph node dissection of breast cancer.Besides,to explore whether it can reduce the incidence of postoperative arm lymphedema and intercostobrachial nerve syndrome that the application of carbon nanoparticle in axillary lymph node dissection of breast cancer. Methods Forty patients with pathologically diagnosed primary breast cancer from September 2015 to September 2017 in our hospital were enrolled. All of them are women and divided into two groups according to their own wishes.Twenty patients in study group underwent carbon nanoparticle tracing followed by axillary lymph node dissection, while twenty patients in control group underwent axillary lymph node dissection without any tracing.Patients in both groups underwent surgery in the same surgical group.Collect statistics of the number of axillary lymph nodes and the positive rate of axillary lymph nodes in two groups as well as the incidence of postoperative arm lymphedema and intercostobrachial nerve syndrome during six months follow-up.Using SPSS19.0 statistical software for data analysis.Measurement data for t test;count data forχ~2 test.P<0.05 was considered significant. Results Compared the experimental group with control group, there is no significant difference in age, tumor diameter and clinical stage. The two groups are comparable.Comparing with the number of axillary lymph nodes detected in control group, the number of axillary lymph node detected in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant. In the positive rate of axillary lymph nodes,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. The positive rate of axillary lymph nodes in experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. In postoperative arm lymphedema and intercostobrachial nerve syndrome incidence,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant. The incidence of the postoperative arm lymphedema and intercostobrachial nerve syndrome in two groups were of no significant difference. Conclusions It can increase the number of detected axillary lymph nodes and the positive rate of axillary lymph nodes that the application of carbon nanoparticle in axillary lymph node dissection of breast cancer. However,it can not reduce the incidence of postoperative arm lymphedema and intercostobrachial nerve syndrome that the application of carbon nanoparticle in axillary lymph node dissection of breast cancer. |
