ObjectiveTo investigate the current Hospital anxiety scale and the quality of life status on patients who received the resection of gastric cancer, through investigation to understand the information needs of patients,On the basis of this results,a targeted information package was made to meet the information needs with gastric cancer patients when operated.Using The Transtheoretical Model and Stages of Change to explore the effects of information intervention psychological status and quality of life in gastric cancer patients who suffered from radical gastrectomy in different four times. Finally a scientific, viable and effective information support model were to be established and a scientific theoretical basis to provide for clinical nursing care.MethodsA quasi-experimental clinical trial was made in the Oncology Department of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University,80 patients of cases were included under included criteria.Avoid the contamination effect,We choose patients who were eligible for included criteria from March to June as controlled group,The controlled group were using the routine information education,we choose patients hospitalized and were eligible for included criteria from July to Sep as intervention group,Intervention group were using targeted information package education and collected the information feedbacks after operation in time, made the post-discharge telephone followed up,Education intervention which were given to gastric patients concerning on diet education and cognitive education, and finally determine the effect of information support in fourth chronologically time.Using the questionnaire of HAD?EORTC-QLQ-C30,Comparing the score of hospital anxiety depression scale?quality of life between the intervention group and contrast group. All the research data was analyzed and finally the results were evaluated.Results1.Totally 80 patients were completed the data collection. The investigation results shows that comparing with this two groups in human descriptive data, age, gender, educational level, marriage status, place of residence, family monthly income, combine with othercomplications, history of previous surgery, whether or not chemotherapy, pathological classification, operating methods, there were no difference,(P>0.05),two groups were comparable.2.As far as HADS concerned,Before intervention, baseline analysis were made in two groups, there was no difference,(P>0.05).The baseline score of HADS of pre-operative anxiety,P>0.05.the baseline score of pre-operative depression,P>0.05,there was no statistical significance with two groups, two groups were comparable.3.After one month intervention, the intervention group HAD Stotal score was16.39±3.72,(P>0.05).There is no change, after 3 months and 6months intervention. The change of HADS total score respectively were 14.90±2.52,13.56±1.57,comparing with baseline analysis before intervention, there was statistic significance(P<0.001).After one month intervention, the intervention group anxiety score was 7.54±2.73(P=0.027),comparing with controlled group, the anxiety score of intervention group was lower, there is significance change, after 3 months and 6months intervention the change of HADS anxiety score separately were 6.83±1.99,6.46±1.76,comparing with baseline analysis before intervention, there was statistic significance(P<0.001).After one month intervention, the intervention group HADS depression score was 8.85±0.30(P>0.05),there is no change, after 3 months and 6months intervention, the change of HADS depression score seperately were 8.07±0.26,7.32±0.23,comparing with baseline analysis before intervention, there was statistic significance(P<0.05)4.As far as the effect of the EORTC-QLQ-C30 score,Before intervention, baseline analysis were made in two groups,The results shows that EORTC-QLQ-C30 total score?Physical function score?role function score?cognitive function score?emotion function?social function in controlled group, there were no statistic significance(P>0.05),after intervention, the intervention group of EORTC-QLQ-C30 total score and subscale score of which were Physical function score?cognitive function score ? emotion function ? social function, there are statistic significance(P<0.05).comparing with the controlled group,EORTC-QLQ-C30 total score and subscale score of which were Physical function score?cognitive function score?emotion function?social function ? cognitive function score,There were no statistic significance(P>0.05).the EORTC-QLQ-C30 total score of intervention group is improved than the controlled group.Using the Analysis of repeated variance to explore the dimension score of intervention group and controlled group, and compare the change in chronological time, the results shows the physical function score resist the time and group interactive effect,(P<0.05).but the role function were not exist interactive effect(P=0.196)and the emotional function still exist the time and intergroup effect.P<0.05.but the cognitive function were not exist interactive effect(P=0.964),Interactive contours shows : with the change of different intervention time, the time main interactive effect inthe score of EORTC-QLQ-C30 of intervention were better than in the controlled group, there were statistic significance.P<0.05.Conclusion(1)Targeted information package can lessen the anxiety and depression in the patients who had operated radical gastrectomy.(2)Targeted information package can improve the patients Physical function score?cognitive function score?emotion function?social function, and improve the quality of life after gastrectomy.(3)In the discharge time, specialized nurse lead telephone visit intervention can made patients know the treatment knowledge, specialized nurse can supply the information need of diet and cognitive education knowledge to improve the quality of life.
