Objective: To study the expression and significance of ELTD1,DLL4 and VEGF in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, cervical cancer. To discuss the relationship between the expression of ELTD1,DLL4,VEGF in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, cervical cancer and clinical pathological characteristics, which including gender, age, differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis.Methods:1.Collected forthy-five lung adenocarcinoma,thirty-seven hepatocellular carcinoma and thirty-five cervical cancer specimens in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University. And each cancer collected sixteen nomal tissues as comparision.2.Immunohistochemical technique(SP method)was used to detect the expression of ELTD1,DLL4 and VEGF in cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues.3.Statistical analysis: the data was analyzed by SPSS 20.0.when P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.ELTD1 was mainly stained on the cell membrane. It was significantly higher that the expression of ELTD1 in lung adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma than in adjacent normal tissue. There was no correlation between the expression of ELTD1 and the age, gender of the patients, but was correlated to clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and tumor differentiation in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma. No obvious expression in cervical cancer,no correlation between the expression of ELTD1 and the age, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, tumor differentiation of the patients.2.DLL4 was mainly located in the cytoplasm. It was significantly higher that the expression of DLL4 in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and cervical cancer than in adjacent normal tissues. There was no correlation between the expression of DLL4 and the age, gender of the patients, but was influenced by clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and tumor differentiation.3.VEGF was mainly located in the cytoplasm. It was significantly higher that the expression of VEGF in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and cervical cancer than in adjacent normal tissues. There was no correlation between the expression of DLL4 and the age, gender of the patients, but was related to clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and tumor differentiation.4.In lung adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma, the expression of ELTD1 and DLL4,ELTD1 and VEGF were positively correlated, but no correlation in cervical cancer.Conclusion:1.The expression of ELTD1 in lung adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma were related to clinical stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis. But no obvious expression in cervical cancer, which requires further study.2.The expression of DLL4 were higher in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and cervical cancer than in the normal tissues. The expression of DLL4 was related to clinical stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis.Which indicates that DLL4 involve in the growth, invasion, and metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and cervical cancer.3.The expression of VEGF were higher in lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and cervical cancer than in the normal tissues. The expression of VEGF was related to clinical stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis.Which indicates that VEGF involve in the growth, invasion, and metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and cervical cancer.4.The expression of ELTD1 in lung adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma were positively correlated with DLL4,and also positively correlated with VEGF,they all played a synergistic role in tumorigenesis and development.5.ELTD1 may be a new target for the treatment of lung adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma.
