Objective To investigate the safety and feasibility of the completely thoracoscopic lobectomy in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Eighty patients with early stage NSCLC undergoing completely thoracoscopic lobectomy between January 2012 and December 2016 were divided into two groups based upon operating methods. The efficacy of surgery treatment in the thoracoscopic group and thoracotomy group was observed. Results Compared with the thoracotomy group, the thoracoscopy group had shorter operative time, less intraoperative bleeding, shorter thoracic tube extraction time, less thoracic duct discharge, shorter hospitalization time, statistically significant difference(P < 0.05),but no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),and postoperative complications: and thoracotomy. The incidence of pulmonary atelectasis was lower than that of the group(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference in the incidence of 48 hours(P > 0.05)in other pulmonary infection, persistent air leakage for more than 5 days, atrial fibrillation,ICU treatment and mechanical ventilation. Conclusions The completely thoracoscopic lobectomy for NSCLC patients is a safe and feasiblesurgical procedure with minimal invasiveness, less bleeding, fast recovery, and shorter hospital stay.It is worth further researching and widely using on clinic.
