Objective:To investigate the changes of cerebral nerve activity in patients with eye pain of keratitis, the changes of neural activity in the brain were measured with the regional homogeneity(ReHo)method. Methods:A total of 20 patients(15 males and five females)with EPK and 20 healthy controls(HCs)consisting of 15 and five age-,sex,and education-matched males and females, respectively, underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. The brain ReHo of two groups were calculated and compared with two-sample t test.Results:1.Compared with HCs,the part of the brain in patients with eye pain of keratitis, found that left the central back before/after the central back(Brodmann area,BA3/4)significantly lower ReHo signal value, right after the central front/back the central back(BA3/4)and back in the left frontal(BA6)lower ReHo signal values.2.Compared with HCs,the part of the brain in patients with eye pain of keratitis, found that the left wedges(BA7),the left frontal gyrus(BA11)and the upper right lower lobe(ba39/40)higher ReHo signal values. Conclusions:Keratitis patients with eye pain are found abnormal neurons activities in brain regions such as anterior and posterior central gyrus, left frontal gyrus, left cuneus anterior lobe, left frontal gyrus, and right inferior parietal lobule. These abnormal brain regions may indicate that keratitis patients with eye pain may have dysfunction in somatosensory, motor, cognitive, and mental aspects. |
