Objective: to investigate the relationship between ACE2 gene polymorphism and CKD in Xinjiang Uygur adults. Methods:based on the database of the epidemiological survey of Uygur adult chronic kidney disease(CKD)in Xinjiang Moyu County Rural between March 2013 and april2014,randomly selected data integrity of CKD and healthy control subjects254 cases,by using the polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP)to identify ACE2 wo single nucleotide polymorphism(SNPs)genotype of G8790 A,A1075G.Results: The frequency of AA genotype in ACE2 G8790 A female CKD group was higher than that in healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant. The frequency of AA genotype in CKD combined with hypertension group was basically the same as that in CKD non hypertension group.A male group CKD allele frequency is higher than the healthy control group, there was statistical significance;A allele frequencies between CKD conbined with hypertension group and CKD is basically the same,no statistical significance;ACE2 gene A1075 G polymorphism : in the female CKD group the frequency of GG genotype was higher than that of the control group, but no significant differences;the frequency of AA genotype in CKD combined with hypertension group was higher than CKD group, and there was statistical significance. The frequency of G allele in male CKD group was higher than that in healthy control group, but no statistical significance. In CKD combined with hypertension group, the frequency of G and A alleles was equal,so,there was no statistical significance. Conclusion: the polymorphism ofACE2 G8790 A gene may be related to Uygu radults in Xinjiang.Polymorphism of ACE2 A1075 G gene may be associated with CKD combined with hypertension of female adults in Uygur of Xinjiang.
