Objective: To investigate the efficacy of 3D-printing technique in the treatmen t of distal femoral varus deformity osteotomy.Methods: Thirty cases of distal fem oral valgus deformity during the period from September 2015 to August 2017 in t he Chinese Medicine Hospital of the autonomous region were collected,According to the order of admission,they were divided into 2 groups: 3D group(3D printing technique assisted distal femoral osteotomy)15 cases,7 males and 8 females,ave rage age(34.5±6)years old;control group(traditional distal femoral wedges)Osteo tomy was performed in 15 patients,including 9 males and 6 females,with an aver age age of(35.5 ± 6)years.The 3D group printed out a 1:1 osteotomy navigation module and a distal femur model using 3D printing-assisted rapid prototyping tech nology,giving reasonable preoperative planning,preoperative surgical rehearsal,and application to the surgery.Accuracy of bone,intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency,excellent rate of HSS score,and blood loss after surgery at 6 months follow-up.Preoperative comparison between the two groups of patients was not statistically si gnificant(P>0.05).Results: The operative time of the 3D group and the control gr oup were(80±11.30)and(160±13.96)minutes,respectively.The intraoperative flu oroscopic times were(3.93±0.96),(17.80±2.14),and the surgical blood loss was(There were significant differences between the two groups(70±16.43)and(153.33±18.88)ml in the two groups(P<0.05).The anatomical lateral distal femoral an gle(aLDFA)was corrected to(13.62±2.42)° and(12.2±6.4)°,respectively.The femoratibial angle(FTA)was corrected to(14.2±1.4)° and(13.1)respectively.± 7.4)°,the excellent rate of HSS knee scores were 93% and 87% at 6 months postoperatively,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Concl usion: 3D printing can be used in the distal femoral valgus deformity osteotomy orthopedic surgery can reduce the operation time,intraoperative video transmission,s urgical blood loss,improve surgical efficiency and other clinical advantages.
