| Objective:The purpose of this study is to construct peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer(Peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer,PSDSFPGC),provide a suitable measurement tool for the relevant researchers,investigation on peer support needs of patients with gastric cancer and analysis of influencing factors,provide references to the peer support activities in gastric cancer patients in the future.Methods:1.literature review:Based on the review of relevant literature at home and abroad,and on the basis of collection,sorting and induction,combined with clinical practice,we initially constructed the content framework of the research scale.2.qualitative research:We extract 9 patients with gastric Cancer from one Grade3A Hospitals in Nanchang City by objective sampling method,and then make a semi-structured deep interview to these patients according to the interview outline,to further enrich the content framework,so as to form the first round of expert consultation table.3.Delphi letter and validity.We choose 16 experts which working in the field of psychology experts,nursing management experts as the letter experts engaged in compilation scale.After two rounds of expert consultation,we formed the initial“Peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer”.4.Form the formal scale after forecast investigation:Then by using the initial scale,we survey 111 patients with gastric cancer in 5 Grade 3A hospitals in NanChang by Convenient sampling method to make pre-survey,then using project analysis,correlation analysis,factor analysis to further screening items in pre-survey.And then analyze the reliability and validity of the scale,we form the final?Peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer?.5.Demand survey in patients with gastric cancer and influence factors analysis:we choose 176 gastric cancer patients in 5 hospitals of NanChang as the research object,to investigate the status of peer support demand in patients with gastric cancer and analyze the influencing factors by using self-designed questionnaire,peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer.6.Statistical method:We establish a database in the Excel 2016,then analyze them in SPSS20.0 statistical software.All the tests were two-sided,with P<0.05 as the difference means statistically significant.Using mean±standard deviation to describe the measurement data,frequency?constituent ratio to describe the enumeration data;using two independent sample t-test,single factor analysis influence factors of variance,multivariate linear regression analysis to explore the influence factors in peer support needs of patients with gastric cancer.Results:1.literature review results:Synthesis of domestic and foreign literature and results of research group discussion,we initially formulated the content framework of peer support demand scale for gastric cancer patients,including 4 dimensions:disease information,life information,emotional support and social adaptation.2.the results of qualitative research:through further analysis of interview data,we enrich and fill the content framework of scale,eventually forming a round of expert questionnaire,including 4 first level indexes and 37 level two entries,which have 9 items of the disease information dimensions,13 items of information dimension of life,emotion support dimensions of 9 items,7 items of social adaptation dimensions.3.Delphi expert consultation and validity of results:the enthusiasm of experts in the two rounds consultation were 100%,and the submission rate are 100%and18.75%respectively;the authority coefficient was 0.847 in the two rounds of expert consultation,expert opinion coordination is good,the Kendall coefficient in two entries in the two letter of inquiry is 0.301?0.208 respectively,the difference has the statistically significant in?~2-test.After two rounds of expert consultation,we delete 5items and 5 new items were added,then 4 items will be merged into 2 items,Constructing the companion the patients with gastric cancer initial support demand which have 4 dimensions,35 items totally.4.Form the results of the formal scale after forecast investigation:We delete 2items which doesn't meet the requirements after item analysis and correlation analysis in preliminary investigation results,the Cronbach's?alpha coefficient in the scale was 0.949,the split half reliability coefficient was 0.799,and the Cronbach's?alpha coefficient of each dimension were 0.932?0.934?0.876?0.861,split half reliability coefficient was 0.913?0.906?0.874?0.840;the each entry level CVI in the questionnaire were 0.872~1.000,the scale level CVI is 0.943,then we form the peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer which includes 4 dimen-sions and 33 items totally,10 items of disease information dimensions,10 items of information dimension of life,emotional support dimensions of 7 items,6 items of social adaptation dimensions.5 the result of status of peer support needs in patients with gastric Cancer and influence factor analysis:the total score of peer support needs of gastric cancer patientswas:(118.96±16.12)points,the highest score of the entry is emotional support dimensions:(3.71±0.52)points,the lowest score is social adaptation dimensions:(3.44±0.68)points.The main influencing factors of peer patients with gastric cancer support needs display after the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis were:age,marital status,education level,number of chemotherapy has been,type of surgery,surgical condition.Conclusion:The construction of peer support demand scale for the patients with gastric cancer has good reliability and validity,and can be used for the investigation of patients with gastric cancer.Peer support demand needs a higher degree of peer support,especially in the emotional support,the main factors affecting peer support needs of patients with gastric cancer were:age,marital status,the cultural degree,has the number of chemotherapy,type of surgery,surgical condition..Therefore,we should actively carry out peer support activities in patients with gastric cancer,but also according to the actual situation of gastric cancer patients with different emphasis,to meet the demand to peer support in patients with gastric cancer,so as to promote their physical and mental health,improve their quality of life. |
