| Objective:To explore the application effect and improvement of Chinese Diabetes Risk Score in the middle-aged and elderly population in Nanchang Community.Method:The questionnaires, physical examinations, and biochemical tests were conducted among 15 communities in Nanchang, aged 40-74 years old.Finally,8714 people were included in the analysis.Chinese diabetes risk scores and Improved diabetes risk scores(Predictive Model 1 formed by replacing the waist circumference with the neck circumference, and Predictive Model 2 formed by Including Neck Circumference in Chinese Diabetes Risk Score)were used to screen all selected people. The Oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was used as the gold standard for the diagnosis of diabetes. The sensitivity, specificity, and the Area under the receiver operating curve of the three methods at the best cut-0ff point were calculated and compared.Result:The areas under the receiver operating curve of the diabetes risk Assessment by the Chinese Diabetes Risk Score and Improved Diabetes Risk Score(Predictive Model 1 and Predictive Model 2)were 0.781(95% CI 0.772 to 0.790)and 0.791(95% CI 0.783 to 0.800),0.772(95% CI 0.763~0.780)respectively,The sensitivity and specificity of the original Chinese Diabetes Risk Scale at the recommended cutoff point(25 points)were 86.5% and 49.5%,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of the best cutoff point(28 points)of the prediction model 1 were 71.5% and 70.9%,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of the best cut-off point(35 points)of Model 2 were 71.3% and 68.9%,respectively.The area under the ROC curve of Chinese Diabetes Risk Score and Prediction Model 1,Chinese Diabetes Risk Score and Prediction Model 2,Prediction Model 1 and Prediction Model 2 were statisticallysignificant(P<0.05),and the prediction model 1 > Chinese Diabetes Risk Score >Predictive Model 2.Conclusion:The Chinese Diabetes Risk Score apply to diabetes risk screening in the middle-aged and elderly population in Nanchang community.by replacing the waist circumference with the neck circumference In The Chinese Diabetes Risk Score may improve the screening effect. |
