Objective: To study the correlation between platelet parameters and serum interleukin-6(IL-6)in patients with coronary heart disease and its clinical value in judging the severity of coronary heart disease. Methods: 1.Retrospective analysis of 368 cases of chest pain patients admitted to our hospital,82 cases of normal coronary angiography as a control group.Among the 286 patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease by coronary angiography,29 patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)were classified according to the diagnostic criteria for coronary heart disease, and non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome(NSTE-ACS)group.82 cases,175 cases of stable angina pectoris(SAP)group, according to the Gensini score evaluation of coronary artery stenosis.2.Biochemical,inflammatory,and platelet markers were measured in all patients, and two groups were compared.Correlation analysis was used to explore the links between the indicators.3.To compare the changes of platelet parameters in each subgroup of coronary heart disease and determine their relationship with the severity of coronary heart disease.Result: 1.Incidence of coronary heart disease was significantly associated with age,IL-6,platelet count(PLT),platelet distribution width(PDW),and mean platelet volume(MPV),independently of platelet volume(PCT).2.Multiple stepwise regression analysis found that PLT,PDW,MPV were independently associated with IL-6(t=-4.311/4.045/6.170,P<0.001).3.The MPV and PDW of SAP group,NSTE-ACS group and STEMI group were all higher than those of the control group. The PLT was lower than the control group. In the Gensini score group, the MPV and PDW increased with the increase of the Gensini score, and the PLT scores with the Gensini score. The increase was decreased(P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant). Conclusion: 1.PLT,MPV,PDW,IL-6 are significantly associated with the occurrence of coronary heart disease.2.PLT,MPV,PDW,and IL-6 were correlated in patients with coronary heart disease, suggesting that there is an interaction between them and a synergistic effect on coronary atherosclerosis.3.MPV and PDW increased with the severity of coronary heart disease.PLT decreased with the severity of coronary heart disease, which provided a reference value for evaluating coronary artery stenosis.
