Objective:Through observation of the effect of acupuncture on the attention function of patients with cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke, and to verify the effect of acupuncture on improving attention function through electroencephalogram, and provide an approach for the treatment of attention deficit after stroke.Method:60 post-ischemic stroke patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups. The acupuncture group was treated by acupuncture and basic treatment, while the control group only received basic treatment.1 case of dropping out and 1 case of removing happened in the acupuncture group during the trial, while there were 1 case of dropping out happened in the control group. The study collected 57 cases at last.Treatment duration was 30 days in both groups.Patients in two groups were examined by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)and the "Neurophysiological Information Workstation" before and after treatment in order to collect the patient's scale scores and EEG signal.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis to assess the effect of acupuncture on patients.Results:1.After treatment, the total scores and attention scores of MoCA in the acupuncture group were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The total score of MoCA in the control group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05),but the attention scores was statistically insignificant(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups total scores and attention scores of MoCA(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the relative power of a frequency in each patient's brain area in the acupuncture group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).The relative power of a frequency in the control group significantly increased in the frontal and occipital lobes(P<0.05),but in the whole brain, parietal lobe, temporal lobe had no statistical difference(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the relative power of a frequency between the two groups(P<0.05).3.After treatment, the relative power of 0 frequency,8 frequency and ?+?/?+? ratio in each patient's brain area in the acupuncture group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).The relative power of 0 frequency,8 frequency and ?+?/?+? ratio in the control group had no statistical difference(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the relative power of 0 frequency,8 frequency and ?+?/?+? ratio(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.This study has statistically analyzed the data of the MoCA scale and the relative power of ?,? and ? frequency, and ?+?/?+? ratio collected by the"Neurophysiological Information Workstation" before and after treatment. It proved that acupuncture combined with basic treatment can improve attentional function of patients with cognitive dysfunction after ischemic stroke, and its effect is better than that of simple basic treatment.2.Acupuncture can make an effect on the whole brain including frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, temporal lobe, and improve brain function of patients with cognitive dysfunction after ischemic stroke.
