Analysis Of The Risk Factors Of Kummell's Disease

Objective:Discusses the risk factors of Kummell's disease in patients with spinal co mpression fracture,reveals the distribution regularities of Kummell's disease risk factors,fo r Kummell's disease early and accurately predict provides objective basis,and then give ap propriate intervention to prevent further deterioration.Methods:This study used a retrospe ctive case-control study method,choose from A third-class hospital spinal surgery between January 2013 and January 2018,five years without surgical treatment of vertebral compres sion fractures of hospitalized patients,randomly selected cases in each group and the contr ol group 30 cases,collection and body mass index,bone mineral density value,fracture vert ebral segment period,height,gender,age,and sugar cortical hormone drugs,daily lifestyle an d merge medical disease 20 related variables,such as using SPSS19.0 version software,usi ng the single factor analysis of variance,chi-square test and logistic regression analysis stat istics method,analysis of cases of first group,compare the clinical onset characteristics of Kummell's disease,and then analysis the case group and the control group,test examines th e relationships between these factors and Kummell's disease.Results:1.Descriptive statisti cal analysis was conducted among 30 patients in the case group.The main cause of fractur e was falling(75%);Thoracic 12 vertebral body and lumbar 1 vertebral body were the two most fractures.2.After single factor variance analysis and Card square test,the two groups the results showed that 9 factors were significant to the pathogenesis of Kummell disease,including BMD,solitary life history,smoking history,history of hypertension,corticostero ids taking history,age,and outdoor activities.3.Using the SPSS19.0 software,two-yuan lo gistic regression analysis was carried out,and 4 main risk factors of kummell disease-bone density,diabetes mellitus,solitary living and age-were selected.2 Secondary risk factorscorticosteroids and high blood pressure.Other possible confounding factors such as outdo or activities,smoking,etc.were removed.Conclusion:The results showed that bone miner al density,solitary living,diabetes mellitus and age were the main risk factors of kummell disease.Hypertension and corticosteroids are secondary risk factors thoracic 12 vertebral b ody,1 vertebral body is the multiple sites of Kummell disease;The cause is fall.
