ObjectiveGastric cancer is one of the most common cancer in the worldwide,it has higher incidence rate and mortality rate. The prognosis of advanced stage of gastric cancer is poor,so it is importance to diagnosis it in the early stage.Compare to the gastroscope, detection of tumor markers in the serological are more convenient and faster. The tumor marker of gastric cancer that commonly used currently has good specificity, while the sensitivity is low.Macrophage inhibitory cytokine-1(MIC-1)is a factor found in the development of proteomics,it is closely related with the cancer of gastric.Gastrin 17(G-17)is a biological marker of G cell function, and it is also related with the occurrence of the cancer of gastric.PurposeTo study the level of macrophage inhibitory cytokine-1(MIC-1)and G-17 in serum of gastric cancer patients and the value of detection of MIC-1? G-17 in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.Method81 patients who go to out-patient department and in-patient department in the first affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from July 2016 to July 2017 were obtained.According to the pathological results, the patients are divided into 2 groups: 36 cases were in the early stage of gastric cancer,45 cases were suffer from advanced gastric.30 healthy cases were obtained as normal control group.Serum MIC-1 and G-17 levels were measured by enzymelinked immunoserbent assay(ELISA)in all patients. The levels of MIC-1 and G-17 in the serum were compared in pairs by rank test in these three groups. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of G-17 and MIC-1 in the peripheral vein serum were evaluated in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.Results1.The MIC-1 level in early stage and advanced gastric cancer were significantly higher than that of normal group(P<0.01).The level of advanced gastric cancer group was significantly higher than that of early stage, there is significant difference between the concentration level in the early stage the gastric cancer group and advance gastric cancer group(P<0.05).2.The G-17 level in early stage and advanced gastric cancer were significantly higher than that of normal group, but there is no significant difference between the concentration level in the early stage group and advanced group(P>0.05).3.The diagnostic sensitivity of MIC-1?G-17 are 81.5%?72.8%.And the diagnostic specificity are 90.0%?72.8%,the diagnostic accuracy are 83.7%?77.3%;The AUC of MIC-1?G-17 are 0.925?0.820.4.The diagnostic sensitivity of MIC-1?G-17 in early stage of gastric cancer are 72.3%?72.1%,and the diagnostic specificity are 90.0%?88.8%,the diagnostic accuracy are 86.2%?81.6%;The diagnostic sensitivity of MIC-1?G-17 in advance stage of gastric cancer are 88.9%?71.2%,the diagnostic specificity are 90.0%?88.8%,the diagnostic accuracy are 89.6%?83.3%;The diagnostic sensitivity of MIC-1combined with G-17 in early stage of gastric cancer is 91.6%,the diagnostic specificity is 78.4%,the diagnostic accuracy is 79.3%;the diagnostic sensitivity of MIC-1combined with G-17 in advance stage of gastric cancer is 95.6%,the diagnostic specificity is 78.4%,the diagnostic accuracy is 81.2%;Conclusion1.The concentration of serum of MIC-1 in the early gastric cancer and advanced cancer are significantly higher than healthy people, there is significant difference between the concentration level in the early stage the gastric cancer group and advance gastric cancer group(P<0.05).2.The concentration of serum of G-17 in the early gastric cancer and advanced cancer are significantly higher than healthy people, there is no significant difference between the concentration level in the early stage gastric cancer group and advance gastric cancer group(P<0.05).3.The diagnostic value of MIC-1 in early gastric cancer and advanced gastric cancer was better than that of G-17,it is a valuable biomarker for gastric cancer. The combined detection of MIC-1 and G-17 in peripheral venous serum is of greater value in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer and advanced gastric cancer.
