Objective To observe the clinical effect of Warming needle moxibustion Therapy combined with Point Application Therapy on knee osteoarthritis with yang deficiency and cold coagulation. Methods A total of 90 cases of knee osteoarthritis with yang deficiency and cold coagulation with joint effusion were selected in our hospital. They were randomly divided into warming needle moxibustion group(treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion only),acupoint application group(treated with point application therapy only)and combined group(warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with point application therapy)with 30 cases in each group. The group of warming acupuncture and moxibustion was treated once a day,the acupoint application group was treated once.for 5 days, the combined group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion once a day,and the point application was treated once for 5 days. All the three groups were treated for 15 days as a course of treatment, with a total of 2 courses of treatment.Comparative analysis of three groups of patients before and after treatment in clinical symptom scores and VAS scores,Lysholm knee joint work Can score the difference of suprapatellar sac effusion.Result 1.Comparison of clinical efficacy:the total effective rate of the combined group was 92.85%;the total effective rate of the warming needle moxibustion group was 85.71%;the total effective rate of the point application group was 79.81%;the combined group was compared with the warm acupuncture group or the Point Application group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and that of warming needle moxibustion group was significantly higher than that of point application group(P<0.05).2.Clinical symptom score:there was no significant difference between the three groups before treatment(P>0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the symptom score of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the warming needle moxibustion group or the point application group(P<0.05),and the difference between the acupoint application group and the warming needle moxibustion group was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.VAS score:there was no significant difference in VAS score between the three groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between the three groups after treatment and before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score of the combined group was significantly different from that of the warming needle moxibustion group or the acupoint application group(P<0.05),and the difference between the point application group and the warming needle moxibustion group was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Lysholm knee function score:the Lysholm knee joint function score of the three groups before treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05),and the three groups were compared with each other before and after treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Lysholm knee joint function score of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the warming needle moxibustion group or the point application group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)between the point application group and the warming needle moxibustion group(P<0.05).5.Suprapatellar sac effusion of knee joint:there was no significant difference in the amount of effusion before treatment among the three groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the three groups after treatment and before treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the amount of fluid accumulated in the combined group was significantly higher than that in the Warming needle moxibustion group or the point application group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant between the point application group and the warming needle moxibustion group(P<0.05).Conclusions 1.Warming needle moxibustion combined with point application and simple acupoint application and simple warming acupuncture and moxibustion can improve the clinical symptoms and knee motion of KOA patients with Yang deficiency and cold coagulation. The degree of joint pain and the amount of joint effusion have good clinical effect.2.The therapeutic effect of warming needle moxibustion combined with point application in treating KOA with Yang deficiency and cold coagulation is better than that of warming needle moxibustion or simple point application.
