Clinical Observation Of Chloasma With Acupuncture Treatment And Tranexamic Acid

Objective:1.To observe the clinical effect on chloasma with rolling needle and tranexamic acid.2.To provide new ideas of tranexamic acid for external use.Methods:60 cases who met the inclusion criteria were randomly into the complex treatment group(included rolling needle,acupuncture and medicine)and the western medication group(30 cases in each group).The complex treatment group use the method of rolling needle,acupuncture and tranexamic acid for external use.The western medication group use the method of tranexamic acid for external use and orally.After the treatment,we observe the treatment effects and the side effects of the two groups.Results:1.Comparison of efficacy:The total efficiency of the complex treatment group is 80.00%,while that is 43.33%of the western medication group.The total efficiency has significant differences between the 2 groups(P<0.05).2.Lesion-area Scores and Lesion-color Scores:After treatment,the two scores can be significant decreased in both two groups(P<0.05).The complex treatment group has better effect in decreasing the two scores than the western medication group(P<0.05).3.General Scores:After treatment,the general scores can be significant decreased in complex treatment group(P<0.05),which there is no significant differences shown in western medication group(P>0.05).This score shows significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).4.Scores of DLQI:After treatment,the scores of DLQI can be significant decreased in complex treatment group(P<0.05),which there is no significant differences shown in western medication group(P=0.14>0.05).This score shows significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).5.Scores of MELASQOL:After treatment,the scores of MELASQOL can be significant decreased in both two groups(P<0.05).The complex treatment group has better effect in decreasing the scores than the western medication group(P<0.05).6.Adverse reactions:Two patients had skin irritation after the first rolling needle treatment in the complex treatment group.However,the symptom disappeared after using 3 days of collagen dressing and there were no adverse reactions in the follow-up treatment.Three patients in the western medication group had a slight decrease in the amount of menstrual which disappeared after 8 weeks' treatment.No other adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:1.The complex treatment(included rolling needle,acupuncture and for external use)can treat melasma effectively and has better effect than the treatment of tranexamic acid for external use and orally in decreasing Lesion-area Scores,Lesion-color Scores,General Score,Scores of DLQI and Scores of MELASQOL.2.There are some adverse reactions in both treatment methods.The adverse reactions in complex treatment group are mild and disappear quickly,so the method of complex treatment group is safer.
