The Clinial Research On The Method Of "Acupuncture Combined Shanhuo Moxibustion" In Treating Cold And Wet Type Of Lumber Disc Herniation

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of the method of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” in treating cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation,and to explor the effectiveness.At last,to provide new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Method The research adoptded randomized and controlled clinical studying method,72 patients were divided into experimental group(“Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion”)and control group(Warm acupuncture and moxibustion group)with 36 patients per each.Both two groups were chosen the same acupoints.Acupuncture manipulation of both two groups were chosen reducing method.After the end of acupuncture,at the waist of the patient use95% alcohol cotton ball with vascular clamp to do “shanhuo moxibustion”in experimental group,retaining the needle at the same time to do“warm acupuncture and moxibustion” at BL25 ? DU4.Tow groups were ask to be receive 5 times treatments one week and totally for 10 times.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and Japanese Orthopedics Association(JOA)low back pain scorewere used to evaluate the clinical efficacy after 1 time?5times and end10 times.At last,to observation and contrast the clinical curative effect of two groups of treatment of cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation.Results1 The gender,age and the course of disease showd no statistically insignificant(P>0.05)between the two groups.The VAS pain scores and JOA low back pain score also were no statistically insignificant(P > 0.05)before treatment.Tow groups can be compared.2 To compare the improve situation of the VAS pain scores and the JOA low back pain score,before and after treatments:(1)To compare the improve situation of the VAS pain scores:After 1 time?5times and 10 times,the VAS pain scores of two groups all were improved compared with before treatment,by statistical processing,it has statistically insignificant(P<0.05).And the change in the VAS pain scores of experimental group significantly different from control group(P<0.05).(2)To compare the improve situation of the JOA low back pain score: After1 time?5 times and 10 times,the JOA low back pain score of two group all were improved compared with before treatment,by statistical processing,it has statistically insignificant(P<0.05).And the change in the JOA low back pain score of experimental group significantly different from control group(P <0.05).3 To compare the efficacy,before and after treatment.(1)After 1 time treatment,the cure and markedly effective rate was 8.33%,the total effective rate was 58.33% in the experimental group.Comparably,the cure and markedly effective rate was 0.00%,the total effective rate was 33.33%in the control group.The rative effect has statistically insignificant between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)After 5 times treatment,the cure and markedly effective rate was52.78%,the total effective rate was 88.89% in the experimental group.Comparably,the cure and markedly effective rate was 30.56%,the total effective rate was 77.78% in the control group.The rative effect has statistically insignificant between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)After 10 times treatment,the cure and markedly effective rate was86.11%,the total effective rate was 97.22% in the experimental group.Comparably,the cure and markedly effective rate was 63.89%,the total effective rate was 91.67% in the control group.The rative effect has statistically insignificant between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In this clinical research,compared with “warm acupuncture and mocibustion”,to observation the clinical curative effect of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” of treatment of cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation.In the case of after 1 time ? 5times and 10 times to compare improve situation of the VAS pain scores and the JOA low back pain score. Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The treatment of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” and“warm acupuncture and mocibustion” are effective to cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation.(2)In this clinical research,the cure and markedly effective rate of experimental group(“Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion”)was higher than control group(“warm acupuncture and mocibustion”).But the total effective rate of two groups were similar,with no significant differences.(3)In this clinical research,the treatment of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” was better than “warm acupuncture and mocibustion” in relieveing pain and improveing clinical symptoms and signs of the lumbar disc herniation.But the fina VAS pain scores and the JOA low back pain score of two groups were similar,with no significant differences.(4)The treatment of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” can quick effect and remarkable curative effect in treat to cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation.After all,the treatment of “Acupuncture combined shanhuo moxibustion” is strictly follow traditional chinese medicines' therapeutic principle of the “cold treated with warm”,and it has strong pertinence,could short of treatment time,meanwhile,it has better controllability.Worth being popularized in clinical acupuncture and moxibustion.
