Objective Patients with high risk of falls in hospital were selected as subjects in Wuhan, the application of the self-made health education pathway in patients during hospitalization,to explore the intervention effect of health education path and routine health education on knowledge, attitude and behavior of the fall of patients. Methods The 120 cases were classified into experimental group and control group according to the single-order of the ward. The experimental group received the intervention of health education path model, while the control group received routine health education. The questionnaire was administered to the subjects before and after the intervention, combining with the statistical software SPSS22.0 analysis and evaluation of the effect of intervention.Results(1)The control group before the intervention, the knowledge, attitude and behavior scores were 18.57±3.427?22.02±1.846?24.55±6.212,after the intervention scores were 19.44±3.180?22.35±1.981?25.32±6.109,paired t test results for the knowledge difference before and after intervention was statistically significant, while the difference of attitude and behavior was not statistically significant.(2)The experimental group before the intervention of the knowledge, attitude and behavior scores were 19.54±3.418?22.76±2.787?23.24±5.578,after the intervention were 21.17±1.368?23.77±2.166?31.38±3.589,paired t test results for statistical significance on knowledge attitude and behavior of the three difference.(3)The independent samples t test results indicated that the experimental group and the control group before the intervention of the knowledge, attitude and behavior of the difference is not statistically significant, and its knowledge, attitudes and behaviors are statistically significant after the intervention.(4)There were no statistically significant differences between the 60 cases of patients in the control group during hospitalization,2 cases of falls, and the experimental group of patients did not fall during hospitalization.Conclusions(1)The routine health education of patients improved the knowledge level of patients, but the attitude and behavior did not change.(2)After two different modes of health education, the experimental group of patients regardless of fall prevention knowledge,or fall prevention attitude,or behavior change has remarkable effect, health education pathway can improve the patient knowledge level effectively, strengthen conviction and establish health behavior positively.
