Infant body resistance is poor,the liver and other organs function is not fully developed,vulnerable to bacteria,the tragedy is not caused by irrational drug use,light make the child became seriously ill,or make the children a lifelong disability and even death.The respiratory system and digestive system disease is common and high incidence of infants and young children period,because the infant's special physiology characteristic,lead to appear many problems in medicine.In order to ensure the healthy growth of infants and young children,more secure using drugs reasonably.In this paper,the related literature at home and abroad were reviewed and sorting,analysis,research,combined with the physiological characteristics and the process of drug in the body of the infant,summarizes the influence of commonly used drugs in infants and young children,and how to reasonable application.Secondly,the method of random sampling,the zhengzhou city hospital outpatient infant patients' families for rational drug use questionnaire survey.As a result,from the questionnaire shows that 50.2% of patients are diagnosed with a cold,40.6% of the patients were diagnosed with diarrhea;In diarrhea medicine survey shows that more than half of the patients with secondary treatment,40.6% of parents according to their own experience to feed infants and young children medicine blindly,32.4% of the children's family knew exactly when to feed the child medicine doses;In cold medicines survey shows that 10.3% of patients did not use the special drugs of infants and young children,61.5% of patients using a variety of drug combination therapy,there are repeated dosing phenomenon,30.5% of parents according to their own experience to feed infants and young children medicine blindly,most of the families of children with the inappropriate ways to feed infants and young children,affect drug effect can appear even bad reaction;Basic can indicate the medication time,all of the patients' families were said to be in accordance with the doctor's orders,a small number of families of children for drug information don't understand.Conclusion,the rational use of drugs in patients with clinic overall situation is good,self-medication family situation is bad,there are still many problems.Medical staff to improve their level,achieve rational dosage of infants and young children;Clinical pharmacists should also play a role in the rational use of drugs,with their own professional knowledge to participate in the doctor's medical decisions,guide the rational use of drugs in patients with right;Families to improve their drug use common sense,a more reasonable to infants and young children taking drugs..
