At present,lung cancer has become one of the most serious diseases of human life and.Early detection and identification of lung cancer is very necessary.Polarization imaging technology can obtain abundant sample microstructure information,and extract the sample polarization characteristics parameters from these information,especially has a broad application prospect in the detection of biological tissues and cells.A polarization imaging detection system for lung cancer cells based on microfluidic chip is presented in this paper.The system could detect the lung cancer cells through cells'polarization characteristics.This paper analyzes the polarization imaging theory,the principle of cell frequency characteristics and texture features,and building polarization microscopy imaging structure according to added the polarization imaging module based on microscope.The system using microfluidic chip as the sample carrier for the particle or lung cancer cells were photographed and through the CCD microscope these images uploaded to PC storage machine,at the same time in the PC terminal design of a polarization based on MATLAB analysis software,the application software mainly includes data processing module,database module and information retrieval module.The software can analyze the polarization characteristics of the collected cell images,and get the Mueller matrix that can characterize the polarization information.Based on the Mueller matrix,calculate the degree of polarization and difference polarization,Mueller matrix decomposition and transformation parameters,the polarization characteristics of the frequency parameters,at the same time,using the gray level co-occurrence matrix,calculate the texture parameters of the images,to distinguish the lung cancer cells.Finally,the above functions are displayed on the platform interface by software platform,and these polarization parameters are stored on the MySQL database,so as to facilitate subsequent retrieval and analysis of polarization information.The polarization imaging detection system designed in this paper can distinguish cells from the polarization characteristics of cells,and also store the polarization characteristic data in the database so as to facilitate subsequent research.The system has the characteristics of simple operation,non-invasive and no labeling etc for detection of cells.
