The Influence Of Different Types Of Surgical Operations On The Postoperative Recovery Status And Complications Of Patients With Early-stage Breast Cancer

Objective:To evaluate the influence of different types of surgical operations on the conditions of perioperative period,postoperative complication and postoperative recovery of patients with early-stage breast cancer.Methods:The 102 cases of patients with early-stage breast cancer treated in general surgery department of Zhongda hospital between Jan 1,2013 and Dec 31,2015 were retrospective studied.The 42 patients who accepted sentinel lymph node biopsy operation treatment were chosen into the study group and the other 60 patients who accepted axillary lymph node dissection were chosen into the control group.The conditions of perioperative period,postoperative complication and postoperative recovery in the two groups were analyzed.Results:In terms of the perioperative period conditions of 2 groups,in the study group,the time of operation was(126.79±28.086)min,removal of axillary drainage tube time was(5.26±2.220)d,total axillary drainage volume was(118.69±97.512)ml.In the control group,the time of operation was(128.92±24.942)min,removal of axillary drainage tube time was(8.58±3.688)d,total axillary drainage volume was(326.501171.272)ml.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the operation time(P=0.688),while the removal of axillary drainage tube time and the total axillary drainage volume of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).In the aspect of the breast cancer-related lymphedema which is quiet common after breast cancer operation,subjective score was(17.21±1.317)and none of the patients was diagnosed to have breast cancer-related lymphedema according to circumference measurement in the study group.The subjective score was(15.67±1.481)and only 2 patients were diagnosed to have breast cancer-related lymphedema according to objective measurement in the control group.The subjective score was obviously higher in the study group(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significantly difference between the two groups in the circumference measurement(P=0.551).The two groups had no significantly difference in the quality of life and the cosmetic results.In the further analysis,the patients who received breast-conserving surgery had better quality of life and cosmetic result than the patients who received mastectomy.Conclusion:Sentinel lymph node biopsy was associated with better postoperative recovery and the subjective lymphedema.The patients with early-stage breast cancer who received breast-conserving surgery had better quality of life and cosmetic result than the patients who received mastectomy.
