A Clinical Comparative Study Between Laparoscopic Left Lateral Segment Liver Resection And Open Left Lateral Segment Liver Resection

Objective:The aim of this study was to compare the short-term clinical effect in the treatment of laparoscopic left lateral segment liver resection(LLLR)and open left lateral segment liver resection(OLLR),in order to provide clinical data for following development of laparoscopic technique in liver surgery.Methods: 30 cases of LLLR and 26 cases of OLLR are retrospectively analyzed respectively with two groups clinical data,which ranging from 2013 to 2017 in our hospital.We compared the two groups in the following indices: general information(contains sex composition,age,tumor longest diameter and pathological type),surgery information(operation time,the blood loss during the operation and intraoperative blood infusion)and recovery information(the time of extubation,the recovery time of gastrointestinal function and hospital stays),and the level of Albumin,TBIL,ALT,AST before and after the operation(the first day and the third day).All relevant data were analyzed using SPSS17.0.Results:(1)general information: There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between Two groups in age,sex composition,tumor longest diameter and pathological type.(2)surgery information: the blood loss during the operation and intraoperative blood infusion were significantly decreased in LLLR group than OLLR group(P<0.05).(3)recovery information: the D1-Pre level of ALT and AST decrease in LLLR group than in OLLR group(P<0.05);the recovery of Albumin and decrease of AST had significant difference between two groups(P<0.05);Also,the time of extubation,the recovery time of gastrointestinal function and hospital stays all decreased in LLLR group than OLLR group(P<0.05).Conclusion: LLLR has more advantages over OLLR with wide range ofapplication,less trauma,rapidly recovery and apparent therapeutic effect.
