Objective:Observe and explore the clinical efficacy of total knee arthroplasty in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Method: Retrospectively analyzed a total of 70 patients(78 knees)who were taken total knee arthroplasty in the treatment group from March 2011 to August 2015.Including male patients in 17 cases(18 knees)and 53 females(60 knees),Left 40 knees and right 38 knees with an average age of 68.49 years. All the patients use the rear stable prosthesis(Biomet),apply the antibiotics to prevent infection and exercise the joint after the surgery.Taking the HSS knee scoring system to assess the clinical efficacy both before and after the surgery, out of 100 points, excellent 85~100 points, good 70~84 points, ordinary 60 ~69 points, poor 60 or less.Result: All patients were followed for an average of 40.72 months(20 months to 72 months).According to the HSS knee scoring system. The efficacy evaluation was performed according to the HSS knee scoring system:excellent knee(52.56%),good 28 knees(35.90%),ordinary 8 knees(10.26%),poor knee(1.28%),the excellent rate was 88.46%;the average preoperative mean HSS score of 42.17 ±6.28,postoperative HSS score of 85.49 ±10.17,the effect was obvious after the surgery and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: The application of total knee arthroplasty in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis is satisfactory, which can effectively improve the function of knee joint and improve the quality of life of patients.
