The Expression Of Substance P And Cytathiohine-?-synthase In Gastric Mucosa Of Patients With Functional Dyspepsia

ObjectTo investigate the expression of Substance(SP)and Cytathiohine-?-synthase(CBS)in gastric antral mucosa of patients with functional dyspepsia(FD),providing a basis for the further clinical studies on FD.MethodsFrom January 2009 to November 2016,43 cases of FD patients(meeting the Rome?diagnostic criteria)diagnosed in our department of the Second Hospital Affiliated of Suzhou University were included in experimental group(FD group).A piece of gastric antral mucosa was collected at FD active stage under a gastroscope as specimen.12 healthy persons with physical examination and gastroscopy negative were in healthy controls group(HS group),a piece of gastric antral mucosa was collectd under a gastroscopy as specimen.SP and CBS expressions in the gastric mucosa of the FD group and normal group were detected using immunohistochemical staining.Results1.Positive expression score of SP in the antral mucosa was expressed as quartile,the FD group were 4.8(3.0-7.2),and the HS group were 1.8(0.95-2.55),Based on significance level of ?=0.05 and P<0.05,the immunohistochemical result showed that SP expression was significantly higher in gastric antral mucosa in FD patients than that in normal group.2.Positive expression score of CBS in gastric antral mucosa was expressed as quartile,the FD group were 9.0(7.8-9.6),the HS group were 5.3(3.5-8.1).There was a statistically increases in gastric antral mucosa of FD patients compared with the HS group(P<0.05).3.Correlation of SP expression with CBS was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis.The expression of SP and CBS showed a positive correlation in gastric antralmucosa in FD patients and normal individuals(rfd=0.221,rhs=0.367),but there were no statistical significance(Pfd>0.05,Phs>0.05).Conclusion1.The expression of SP in gastric antral mucosa of FD patients increased obviously compared with healthy individuals,suggesting that SP may participate in the occurrence of FD.2.The expression of CBS in gastric antral mucosa of FD patients increased obviously compared with healthy individuals,suggesting that CBS may participate in the occurrence of FD.
