Effect Of Intensive Health Education On Patients With Diabetes Mellitus In Grade Three Hospitals

Objectives:In China,diabetics have a low understanding of their own disease and how to treat a disease,so receiving diabetes health education became the main way for patients to know about the habits of living and eating,at the same time diabetes health education can also play a positive role in the clinical treatment of patients.This study investigated diabetic patients in a way of questionnaires and compliance questionnaires,to explore the curative effect analysis of both traditional health education and enhanced health education for the diabetics,to analyze the effect of two kinds of health educations on the quality of the patients' life,to find out the factors influencing the diabetic patients' life quality,which could find more effective health education methods,and provide theoretical basis for improving the level of diabetes education.Methods:According to gender,age,cultural degree and other information,200 patients were divided into two groups randomly.They are the experimental group and the control group,and each group has100 cases.The two groups received different health education methods.The experimental group received enhanced health education on the basis of carrying out the traditional education,but the control group received the traditional education.All the patients in the group set up health records and do a check-up to obtain relevant data,including height,weight,blood pressure,fasting blood sugar,and the blood sugar after 2 hours and glycosylated hemoglobin,which is recorded by a full-time health education nurse into the system.Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of sex,age,culture,basic condition and FBG,2hBG,HbAlc,etc.(P >0.05),In contrast to control group,the patients in the experimental group had higher qualified rate,better management of themselves,and better control of blood glucose,the difference between those two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions: Based on our present study,with the implementation of enhanced health education in the experimental group and strengthen the education way of follow-up,the patients in the diabetes qualified rate,self-management,the control of blood glucose are prior to the patients in the traditional health education(P<0.05).It is suggested that enhanced health education was valuable for diabetic patients,especially for the control of blood glucose,promoting the patients' physical and mental health,reducing the occurrence of acute and chronic complications of diabetes,development,reducing the pressure of family and social medical and the heavy economic burden.
