Background At present,more and more studies have shown that obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is an independent risk factor for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.1-phosphate sphingosine is a pleiotropic lipid,with a wide range of physiological and pathophysiological effects.1-phosphate sphingosine is involved in a variety of physiological and pathophysiological processes,including angiogenesis,cell proliferation and migration,inflammatory cell transport,cytokine production,cytoskeleton recombination,endothelial barrier regulation of vascular tone control.1-phosphate sphingosine plays an important role in the development and progression of coronary atherosclerotic heart,and the specific mechanism has not been fully elucidated.Whether obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is affected by the level of sphingosine 1-phosphate to promote the development of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease need further study.Objective To compare the levels of serum SIP in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)and non-coronary heart disease(CHD)with different severity of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS),and to elucidate the possible role and mechanism of S1P in CHD induced by OSAS.Methods The levels of sleep apnea hypopnea index(AHI),which were monitored by PSG,were divided into four groups:non-OSAS group(AHI<5,22 cases),mild OSAS group(5?AHI<15,13 cases),moderate OSAS group(15?AHI<30,18 cases)and severe OSAS group(AH1? 30,27 cases).All the 80 patients underwent coronary angiography.According to the angiographic results,CHD group(45 cases)and coronary angiography(CAG)negative group(35 cases)were used to quantitatively determine the serum SIP level in 80 patients by ELISA.Data analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant difference.Results(1)The expression of S1P in CHD group was significantly higher than that in CAG negative group(p<0.01).(2)In patients with different severity OSAS(mild OSAS group,moderate OSAS group,severe OSAS group),SIP The expression in the group was higher than that in the CAG negative control group(P<0.05).(3)The expression of S1P in OSAS group was significantly higher than that in non-OS AS group(p<0.01);With the increase of OSAS,SIP increased gradually;p<0.01.Conclusions 1,Serum levels of S1P in patients with coronary heart disease were significantly higher than those without coronary heart disease;2,Regardless of the severity of OSAS,serum S1P in patients with coronary heart disease was significantly higher than that in patients with non-coronary heart disease(OSAS),and S1P had predictive value for OSAS in patients with coronary heart disease.3,OSAS patients have higher serum S1P than non-OSAS patients;OSAS may affect the level of S1P to affect the occurrence and development of CHD.
