Objective: to observe the curative effect and the effect on CRP in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: 60 cases of aged AECOPD were divided into treatment group and control group according to randomized grouping principle. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the treatment group was treated with a combination of traditional western medicine. Both groups were treated for 10 days. After the course of treatment, two groups of patients were observed before and after treatment of TCM syndromes,TCM syndromes, and c-reactive protein changes. Results: 1.The curative effect of total integral result analysis of syndromes: treatment group total score significantly lower than the control group after treatment in patients with integral, the results showed statistically(P<0.05),the difference is statistically significant.2.Compare single syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment group cases after treatment of Chinese medicine major symptoms: cough, cough up phlegm, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine: god exhausted lazy speech, often abdominal distension full, fewer syndromes single integral obviously improved compared with the control group cases, the results showed statistically(P <0.05),the difference is statistically significant.3.The comparison of C-reactive protein: cases treatment group and control group after treatment C-reactive protein value was 3.97 +/-1.98 and 13.85 +/-4.49 respectively, the two groups after treatment in patients with CRP for statistical analysis and comparison, the results showed statistically(P<0.05),the difference is statistically significant. The treatment group was superior to the control group in lowering the level of c-reactive protein.4.Cases,two groups of security index evaluation: two groups of cases of routine blood(HGB),RBC' s,urine routine, liver meritorious service is regular, dung(ALT,AST)(CR,ERUA),renal function, routine electrocardiogram, chest X-ray before and after treatment with statistical analysis and comparison.of results showed statistically(P>0.05),no statistically significant difference. Conclusion: the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving the efficacy of TCM syndrome. The treatment group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, such as cough, sputum, dyspnea, shortness of breath, weakness of god, fullness of abdominal distension, etc. The treatment group was significantly better than the control group in reducing c-reactive protein.During the treatment, there was no significant change in the safety index of the two groups, indicating that both groups were safe. Therefore,it has significant clinical effect on the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in elderly patients with phlegm obstructive pulmonary disease, and can effectively reduce the patients' c-reactive protein.
