The Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Vascular Dementia (Kidney Weakness And Phlegm Blocking) By Modified Decoction Of Rehmanniae

Objective:This research focused on investigate the clinical curative effect of vascular dementia from deficiency of kidney essence and phlegm obstruction,and observe the clinical curative effect of modified Decoction of Rehmanniae.To verify the effectiveness of Modified Decoction of Rehmanniae in the treatment of vascular dementia(kidney deficiency phlegm type)provide ideas and evidence-based medical evidence for vascular dementia.Methods:Refer to the diagnostic criteria for vascular dementia in the United States(DSM-IV)and the Vascular Dementia Syndrome Score Scale for Diagnostic,Syndrome Differentiation and Criteria for Evaluation of Vascular Dementia(Study),to make vascular dementia kidney deficiency phlegm type syndrome diagnosis and screening.Choose our hospital encephalopathy ward outpatient and inpatients diagnosed with vascular dementia kidney deficiency phlegm syndrome,dementia mild to moderate patients,Adopt stochastic contrast method,60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each had 30 patients,The control group was treated with donepezil hydrochloride(5mg/tablet),by oral taking 1 tablet before sleep every evening.and the treated group was treated with Modified Decoction of Rehmanniae particle on the basis of donepezil hydrochloride,the course of treatment was 12 weeks.Before and after treatment,the efficacy of TCM syndromes,cognitive function and behavioral ability were evaluated.The safety observation was performed by blood routine and liver,kidney function.The rats were evaluated in order to alleviate the condition.The function and the daily life ability of the efficacy and safety.Result:There were 60 patients in the two groups,except for the control group has a fall off,the rest are completed this study.The results showed that both the treatment group and the control group all could improve the MMSE score,ADL score and TCM syndrome score(P<0.01)in the patients with vascular dementia,and to improve the cognitive ability,There was a significant difference in the ability to improve the daily living ability,but the total effective rate was quite satisfactory.The total effective rate was also statistically higher than that of the western medicine group.Conclusion:The effect of modified Decoction of Rehmanniae Granule combined with western medicine was similar to that of western medicine alone in improving cognitive function,in the daily life ability assessment and TCM symptoms,was significantly better than the simple Western medicine,indicating that modified Decoction of Rehmanniae in improving the daily living ability and symptoms have a better effect,Rehmannia glutinosa particles and donepezil hydrochloride were not found on the human body there are obvious side effects,has good safety.
