ObjectiveThis study will be used in the clinical study of nursing care of first-level patients with incontinent dermatitis that are treated with safflower extract,and the observation of the effects of the nursing intervention on skin protection of first-level patients with incontinent dermatitis,seeking the effective nursing intervention manners.MethodsFrom April of 2016 to March of 2017,60 first-level patients of incontinent dermatitis in accordance with the inclusion criteria in a nursing home were chosen as the research objects.According to the simple coin method,subjects were divided into two groups,one coin side for the observation group,the other coin side for the control group,30 cases,respectively.Two groups of patients were treated with conventional nursing methods: we strengthened the observation and inspection,paid close attention to the patient's urine excretion,such as incontinence frequency,timely prevented various patients' excrement from stimulating the skin,and replaced the contaminated clothes and sheets immediately.Patients with the toilet impregnated skin were thoroughly washed with warm water,especially the skin folds.After washing,sterile towel was used to clean the skin gently,avoiding rough repeated wiping and rubbing.We discovered the psychological problems of patients with incontinence dermatitis in time and performed the corresponding psychological counseling.At the same time,we strengthened the health education of patients and their families with knowledge of correct prevention methods and nursing cares.In addition,the control group was treated with talcum powder evenly on the surface of the skin,and the observation group was treated with wet gauze soaked with safflower extract for 30 min,being dried.The rash,redness,swelling,the improvement of patient's conscious symptoms(such as itching)of the two groups were observed and noted,and the the cure time and treatment effect were also observed and noted for continuous seven days.The data were analyzed using software of SPSS22.0 and difference with P < 0.05 was defined as statistically significant.Results(1)There was no significant difference in gender,age,educational level,marital status,occupation,economic status,medical payment for these two groups of patients(P > 0.05);and there was no significant difference in the location of dermatitis and dermatitis area(P > 0.05).(2)After the intervention,the skin rash,redness and swelling of the two groups were subsidized,and the rash and swelling of the observation group disappeared earlier than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(3)After the intervention,the disappearance of autonomic symptom of pruritus in the observation group was earlier than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(4)The healing times of the observation group and the control group were(3.8±0.8)d and(4.8±0.9)d,respectively.And the healing time of the observation group was much shorter than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)The symptoms of two groups of patients with dermatitis were improved after intervention,but the situation of the observation group was much better(P < 0.05).ConclusionThere are significant effects of the application of safflower extract on the wet treatment of first-level patients of incontinent dermatitis.The rash,redness,swelling and conscious symptoms(itching feeling)of the patients disappear faster.The treatment time is shortened,and the total effective rate is improved.
