The Research For The Intervention Effect Of The Therapy Invigorating The Kidney And The Spleen With Metformin To The Insulin Of Patients With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective Apply the therapy invigorating the kidney and the spleen with metformin to the patients with polycystic ovarry syndrome with insulin resistance,then observing the situation of menstrual,clinical manifestations,acne,and some related experimental diagnosis standard including luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin sensitive index(ISI)in the patients.Set the patients with treatment of taking metformin alone as control group,comparing the above indications of two groups so that estimating the effect of the therapy combination the prescription of invigorating the kidney and the spleen with metformin to the patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance.Method Collect outpatient cases diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome in patients with insulin resistance from the department of gynecology in Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital.In the light of the table of random number,divided all collected patients into treatment group and control group according to the clinic time,treatment group was treated by the therapy combination the prescription of invigorating the kidney and the spleen with metformin,while the control group reated with metformin alone,above patients were treated for 3 months for one period of treatment and were in acquisition fasting venous blood before and after one course of treatment for determination of LH,FSH,FPG,FINS,(acquisition time stipulated in the menstrual cycle of 2-5 days),the calculation of LH/FSH and ISI,and survey the menstruation,clinical manifestations,acneand so forth.Result After treatment,total effective rate for he TCM syndrome efficacy of treatment group was 93.33%,the rate of the metformin group was63.33%,the difference was significant(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group,the therapy for the treatment group can improve the symptoms of patients with acne and had statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).The therapy for the treatment group can improve insulin resistance,compared with the control group was statistically significant difference(P <0.05).Collected patients’ LH levels and LH/FSH of prior treament were lower than the levels of posttreament,and there was significant difference between two groups patients’ LH levels and LH/FSH after treatment(P <0.05).The therapy for the treatment group can reduce the patients’ T,while there was no statistically significant difference compared with the control group(P > 0.05).Conclusion Through applying the therapy combination the prescription of invigorating the kidney and the spleen with metformin to the patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance,not only the LH/FSH and LH level ratio were reduced,still the insulin sensitivity was enhanced whit the synergy of metformin so that improving insulin resistance,and this therapy have significant unique advantages in improving the menstruation,acne and associated symptoms.
