Background and Objective: Premature ejaculation(PE),is the most common male sexual dysfunction in clinical,in recent years, the incidence of the disease increased by 21%-32%,seriously affecting the physical and mental health of male patient, husband and wife feelings and family stability, and cause anxiety,guilt,self-confidence decline. In addittion,it also affects the physical and mental health of their sexual partners. The incidence of PE has no special,it can occur at all ages.In recent years, for domestic and foreign scholars have not elaborated clearly on the mechanism of premature ejaculation, while the lack of uniform assessment of patients with premature ejaculation evaluation criteria and treatment methods,so far,we have not reached a consensus about the diagnosis and treatment of premature ejaculation. The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical application of 5-hydroxytryptamine,leptin,and polic acid in the diagnosis of premature ejaculation. Methods:Randomly selected 24 patients with primary premature ejaculation from outpatient clinic as the study group,20 healthy volunteer as the control group. The following information of the study and the control group were collected: age, mean vaginal ejaculation latency(IELT),body mass index(BMI).Plasma 5-HT,leptin and folic acid concentrations were measured and compared between the two groups. The SPSS18 data packet was used to sort out and analyze the collected three test data.Results:1.The concentration of 5-HT,leptin and folic acid in the study group were 17.44±6.51 ng/ml,39.791±20.83 ng/ml(P<0.01);7.66±3.66 ng/ml,2.258±1.905 ng/ml(P<0.01);7.43±2.31ng/ml?10.86±3.24 ng/ml(P<0.01),respectively,with the significant difference.Compared with those in the control group, the concentration of 5-HTand folic acid in the study group decreased significantly, while the concentration of leptin increased significantly.2.The IELT,CIPE-5 score of study group were significantly lower than that of the control group, while the PEDT score of study group was significantly higher than that of the control group.3.The age,BMI had no significant difference between the study group and the control group. Conclusion:The plasma leptin in patients with PE was significantly higher than that of the healthy person in control group, plasma serotonin and folic acid were significantly lower than that of the healthy person in control group, and hence they might be objective indexes for the diagnosis of PE.
