Random Skin Flap In The Repair Of Facial Soft Tissue Defects In The Aesthetic Applications

Objective To discuss the effects of random flap in the repair of facial soft tissue defects in the aesthetic applications.Methods From June 2010 to August 2015,we collected 36 patients,included 13 males and 23 females,aged 18?58 years.Facial nature of lesions:6 cases of basal cell carcinoma,3 cases of squamous cell carcinoma,6 cases of scar contracture,13 cases of pigmented nevus,8 cases of facial soft tissue defect caused by trauma.Cerebral location:3 cases in the frontal temporal region,4 cases in the orbital department,11 cases of the nose,5 cases of the lip,6 cases of the cheek,3 cases of the mandible,4 cases of the chin.According to each patient facial defect of aesthetic subunits,designed the random pattern flaps transferred to repaired wounds,and designed the incisions along the direction of Langer's lines or facial wrinkles or hidden the incisions in the skin folds.The postoperative outcomes and postoperative complications were assessed by compared of pre-operative and postoperative photos and postoperative follow-up of patients.Results All defect parts were designed according to the different aesthetic subunits,the postoperative flaps' blood supply were good,no subcutaneous hematoma,infection of incision and stage I incision healing,incision designed along the direction of Langer's lines or facial wrinkles,or hidden in the folds of face,postoperative incision scars were mild,flaps texture were soft,no obvious difference was found between the flap skin color and the surrounding skin,followed up for 2?12 months postoperatively,patients were satisfied with the postoperative effects.Conclusion Facial district into the aesthetic subunits,according to the aesthetic subunits to design regional random pattern skin flaps to repair facial soft tissue defects,at the same time,incisions design or hide in the folds of face or along the direction of Langer's lines or facial wrinkles,can maximum retains the facial aesthetics and function.There is a certain value in the aesthetic repair of facial soft tissue defects.
