Soft Tissue Profile Aesthetic Features Of Attractive Chinese Male

The more contact we make with each other in modern society,the more important physical attractiveness become in our daily life.Beautiful people can get more approvemant,more opportunities for job and more favor from opposite sex. Analysis of soft tissue facial profile before treatment is the cornerstone of plastic surgery.As development of orthographic surgery,plastic surgery and orthodontics, clinical doctors can let the facial profile features of patient changed largely,but even a completely successful operation can't achieve satisfactory result if you don't make the analysis in a right way.The purpose of the current study is to analyze the aesthetic facial profile of Chinese attractive males in different age,to find out the variation trend of soft tissue profile aesthetic features in attractive Chinese males as age,to compare the soft tissue profile aesthetic features between males and females in the some age and to provide important reference for orthodontic doctor,orthographic surgery doctor and plastic surgeons in their clinical diagnosis and treatment.Objective To find out the facial profile aesthetic features of attractive Chinese males in different age and discuss the differences between them.To discuss the different facial profile aesthetic features betweent males and females in the some age.To provide reliable reference for orthodontic doctor,orthognathic surgery doctor and plastic surgeons in their clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods 49 lateral pictures of famous males film stars were collected from famous films during 1930-2008,10 lateral pictures of famous females film stars were collected from famous films during 2000-2008,ages ranging from 18 to 35 years. They were standardized by computer then divided into six groups,five groups of males in different age and one group of female.15 landmark and 26 measurements were made by using WinCeph8.0.Use Microsoft Excel 2003 to Set up database and SPSS 15.0 to make the Statistical analysis.Results 1.The longitudinal research of facial profile aesthetic features in Chineses males:The angle of OP-B'LLA in 30-40s group is smaller than other groups.The angle of A'ULA-B'LLA in 30-40s group is smaller than 50-70s group, 50-70s group is smaller than 80s and 2000s groups,90s group is the biggest.The angle of ULA-Ns-Pos in 50-70s group is bigger than 90s group.The angle of LLA-Ns-Pos in 30-40s and 50-70s is bigger than 90s group.The angle of Z angle in 30-40s group is smaller than 90s group.The angle of H'angle and the distance of LLA-H in 30-40s group are bigger than 90s group.The distance of LLA-E in 30-40 group is bigger than 90s and 2000s groups.The distance of Sn-H in 50-70s group is bigger than 80s and 90s groups.The distance of Sn-Me' in 30-40 group is smaller than 50-70s,80s and 2000s groups.The ratio of Sn-Stoma/Sn-Me' in 80s group is smaller than other groups.Meanwhile,Other measurements including the angle of G-Pn-Pos,G-Sn-Pos,OP-NsPos,Pn-Ns-Sn,Cm-Sn-ULA,Sn-A'-UV,OP-A'ULA, OP-PosB',Pos-B'-LV,OP-NsULA,OP-NsLLA,ULA-Ns-LLA and the distance of ULA-H,ULA-E,Sn-St had no difference between five groups.2.The comparative study of facial profile aesthetic features between different gender of Contemporary Chinese people:The distance of Sn-H in male group is bigger than female group.Other Linear and angular measurements did not show significant difference.Conclusion:1.The public facial profile standard of attractive Chinese male has changed with time.The changes are in the lower third of the face,especially in the lower lip.From 1930 to 1999 the lip projection is Declining,change from Protrusion into retrognathism.From 1990 to 2000 the lip projection become Protrusion again, and the lip projection is similar to the lip projection in 1980'.It seems that the facial profile standard having the trend to change back.2.The public facial profile standard of attractive Chinese males are basically the same as Chines females,but the Sn-Me'is different,the male is longer than the female.We can use the same facial profile standard for both male and femal but should pay attention to the different in Sn-Me'.
