Objective To explore the effect of different chest drainage methods after uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic radical operation for lung cancer.Methods 200 patents with uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic radical operation for lung cancer were divided into two groups:A and B from April 2014 to December 2016 in the first Affliliated Hospital of SuZhou University.A group of 100 patients after surgery using a 30~#single-tube.B groupe of 100 patients after surgery using a 30~#single-tube and a suction drainage tube.Cases were observed after surgery drainage amount,duration,postoperative chest to wear again,postoperative pain,length of hospital stay and total hospital costs between the 2 groups.Results There was no statistical difference in comparing the two groups of patients age,gender,pathological type and resection of lung and other general.There was no statistical different in the total chest drainage(1007.4±512.95ml VS 982.35±359.93ml)and chest drainage duration(5.71±2.61 d VS 5.43±1.91 d).there was statistical different in the 30~#chest tube duration(5.71±2.61 d VS 2.9±0.61 d),length of hospital stay(12.05±2.93 d VS 13.45±4.15 d)and total hospital costs(63376.47±1615.82 yuan VS64449.82±3650.04 yuan).A post-operative again thoracentesis rate of 7%,B post-operative again thoracentesis rate of 0,There was statistical difference in comparing the two groups.Compare two postoperative pain VAS score:There was no statistical different in postoperative 1th day,postoperative 2th day and postoperative 3th day.postoperative 5th day showed statistical different.Conclusion Using a single chest tube plus a suction drainage tube will not increase postoperative pain in patients after uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic radical operation for lung cancer,which can significantly shorten postoperative hospitalization time and effectively control the postoperative thoracic puncture rate,thus effectively reducing the postoperative hospitalization costs of patients.
