Objective:Through the investigation and analysis of 400 stroke patients and their family members, the characteristics of post-stroke depression(PSD)and related influencing factors were investigated, and investigated the relative knowledge of stroke and PSD of family members of patients with stroke and PSD related knowledge. It could provide the basis for better prevention and nursing care of PSD.Methods:The subject of stroke patients and their family members were selected from the neurology department of a hospital in Qigihar in July 2016 ~ March 2017.The general condition of patients and their families were collected(including age, gender, region, culture degree, family economic situation),living habits(including smoking, drinking, sleeping, etc.),disease conditions(including stroke characteristics, location of lesions, number of strokes, etc.),patients with other diseases, and family members' awareness of stroke and PSD.Self-rating and scale depression(SDS)were used to determine whether patients with depression and the severity of depression. The neurological impairment was assessed by the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS).Using Epi Data 3.1 software to build database,SPSS 22.0 was used to analysis data.Descriptive analysis of measurement data used median(four percentile interval),count data by percentage or proportion. The measurement data were analyzed by t test or variance analysis, count data using chi square test. The paired-design data groups were compared with the Mc Nemar matched Chi square test.Logistic regression model was used for multivariate analysis,P<0.05 was set up for statistically significant differences.Results:1.In this survey, the detection rate of PSD was 89.5%.Mild depression prevalence rate was 28.5%;moderate depression detection rate was 49.5%;severe depression detection rate was 11.5%.2.Detection rate of depression with different demographic characteristics: The detection rate of female is higher than that of male;65 years of age or older group detection rate is higher than the age group of <65;the children as the main caregivers of the detection rate is higher than the spouse;sleep time in group <7h was higher than that of 7h group.3.The more the number of stroke times, the higher the detection rate of PSD.The detection rate of moderate depression was the highest among group of the stroke occurred 3 times, was 64.9%;more than 4 times group of severe depression detection rate(29.8%)was the highest.4.The patients with the higher the NIHSS score would get the higher detection rate of PSD.5.PSD influencing factors analysis: Admission NIHSS score increases every 1points,the risk of PSD increased by 0.425 times(95%CI: 1.116~1.820).The risk of PSD with sleep time more than 7h was 0.108 times than <7h(95%CI: 0.036~0.323).The risk of developing PSD in 2 times of stroke was 6.246 times greater than 1 time of stroke(95%CI: 2.074~18.806).The risk of stroke more than 3 times of the occurrence of PSD was 33.432 times than 1 time stroke(95%CI: 4.435~252.026).6.PSD family members have better knowledge of stroke related knowledge, the cognitive rates of stroke risk factors and stroke warning symptoms were above 90%.7.Family members of PSD patients got a higher cognitive rate of patients with diminished ability,no sense of value, and easy to cry behavior, the rate were 96.2%,94.8%,92.7% respectively. But the cognitive rate of patients with decreased sexual interest, futility and despair was lower, the rate were 25.5%,25.8%,30.2%respectively.Conclusion:1.The detection rate of PSD in this survey is 89.5%,which is at a high level. The detection rate of mild depression was 28.5%,the detection rate of moderate depression was 49.5%,and the detection rate of severe depression was 11.5%.2.Multiple strokes, the higher NIHSS score and sleep time less than 7h were the risk factors of PSD.The older the patients were, the higher proportion they suffered with sever PSD.3.The cognitive level of PSD patients' families was higher. However, there was a lack of proper cognition about the occurrence of some depressive related behaviors in patients, such as loss of sexual interest, sense of futility and despair.
