Objective: To understand the basic situation of medical education in some countries and the implementation status of the mode of "medical and teaching synergy" in China.And taking a university in Tianjin as an example,through the questionnaire and empirical research to understand the training model of clinical professional degree and the existing problems,carrying out an in-deep process reengineering for its quality assurance system and putting forward some suggestions from the related experience,to promote the implement of the mode.Method: We used the literature research method to understand the basic situation of medical education in some countries and the development trend of our country's clinical professional degree.We also used field surveys to understand the status of the mode of "medical and teaching synergy" in some colleges and universities.Besides,this study took a university in Tianjin as an example,through the questionnaire and empirical research to understand the training model of clinical professional degree and the existing problems,carrying out an in-deep process reengineering for its quality assurance systemQuestionnaires were unified distributed,explained and recycled by the training investigators.Epidata3.1 was used to input the effective data;SPSS 19.0 was used for statistical analysis.The statistical description of the count data is used percentage,the comparison of the data between groups was used ?~2 test,the test level was ?=0.05.Result: Literature research results showed that the medical education in foreign countries(the United States,the United Kingdom and Japan)is very strict,focusing on medical students? clinical practice,self-learning ability and humanistic quality.Resident training is the only way to become a clinician,and continue medical education is a compulsory course for medical students.The results of the field survey conducted by six universities in Nanjing,Shanghai and Chongqing and so on showed that most of the universities require clinical postgraduate students receive clinical training in the period of 33 months.The course is based on the credit system,which is mainly arranged in the first semester?s evening or weekend.In addition,in order to promote the convergence of the mode of "medical and teaching synergy",most of the regions and universities such as Anhui,Guangxi,Sichuan and so on are in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education and their actual situation,to identify the clinical work of the clinical professional degree student before 2015 accordingly.In this study,total of 1021 questionnaires were distributed,in which 25 manager?s questionnaires were distributed and 22 were effectively recovered.300 tutor?s questionnaires were sent out and 282 were effectively recovered.The survey of graduate students was divided into two parts,in the first part,348 questionnaires were distributed and 314 were recovered;in the second part,348 questionnaires were distributed and 319 were recovered.In the empirical study,250 questionnaires were distributed and 221 were recovered.The results showed that 72.93% of postgraduates had a higher willingness to accept the new model,but because of the limitations of the cognitive channels,some respondents had a low awareness of the model,and there were some differences between the different groups(?~2=43.497,P=0.000).In the aspect of admission,some respondents think the current entrance examination of clinical professional degree is still based on the study of theoretical knowledge,so there are 60.72 % of the managers,41.00% of the tutor and 52.87% of the postgraduates suggest that the assessment proportion of postgraduate students' clinical skills should be increased in the entrance examination.In the curriculum,more than 50% of the students think that the current curriculum system should to be improved.Besides,the survey showed that nearly 90% of the courses were taught by the teachers,and the teaching methods were single;In addition,the majority of respondents believe that schools should set up some online courses for clinical professional degree student.In the clinical training,after a period of clinical rotation,the ability of students have a different degree of promotion,but there are still some students said that the clinical teachers have a lower degree of emphasis on their clinical training,and the management situation is not satisfactory.Besides,the survey showed that there were differences in the allocation of teachers in different hospitals(?~2=23.735,P=0.005).In the skills assessment,84.33% of the students think that the department examination is reasonable,but there are still some students think that the form of examination is not formal,and it did not play a real feedback effect.In addition,nearly 90% of the students said the current reward system can?t meet their basic living requirements.As the oncology has not been included in the national resident professional training directory,and Tianjin has not introduced the training standards,either,so the oncology disciplines can only be in accordance with the department of Internal medicine or surgery for rotation.The results of the empirical study showed that 79.64% of the graduate student considered it is necessary to participate in the training,but 53.39% of the students indicated that the current standard system was not helpful for their future career of oncology.Therefore,they suggested that the oncology should be included in the national standard system,and should set up the rotation system for profession on oncology.In addition,the survey also found that most of the employer considered that the certificate for standardized training is a necessary for recruitment,and there are not much difference for the demand of employer between the degrees of science and professional.Conclusion: The mode of "medical and teaching synergy" have achieved effective convergence between the medical school education and occupational medical education,however,the model has just started in the nationwide,so there are still some problems.For example,part of the professional is not docking;the relevant training system is not perfect;supporting policies are imperfect and the fund is not adequate.Universities should take the opportunity of developing clinical professional degree and constructing of double-top disciplines,learn from foreign and domestic?s advanced experience,and innovate training methods,carrying out an in-deep process reengineering for its quality assurance system,improving the cultivation quality of clinical professional degrees from all aspects and the convergence of "medical and teaching coordination",and promoting the effective implementation of medical education reform in China.
