?Objective? To investigate the clinical significance of TK1 and TSGF in serum for the diagnosis of colorectal cancer.?Methods?According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, the 162 cases were collected from patients who underwent outpatient in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, from April 2014 to April 2016 and identified by retrospective analysis.Of all cases,102 cases were included in the discovery cohort according the pathological diagnosis,30 cases were included in the benign independent cohort and 30 cases were used as the healthy independent cohort.Serum TK1 was detected by immunoblotting enhanced chemiluminescence assay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to measure serum TSGF.To elucidate the relationship between the expression of TK1 and TSGF and the clinical stage and the pathologic type in the colorectal cancer patients by comparing the difference among discovery cohort, benign independent cohort and healthy independent cohort in expression of serum TK1 and TSGF.?Results?1.The expression of TK1 and TSGF in colorectal cancer group was significantly greater than that in colorectal benign lesion group and normal healthy group(P <0.01).The level of serum TK1 and TSGF in colorectal benign lesion group was higher than that in normal healthy group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).2.The sensitivity of colorectal cancer diagnosis was significantly improved when serum TK1 and TSGF were combined detected, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).3.There were significant differences in levels of TK1 and TSGF in colorectal cancer patients at different clinical stages(P <0.01).However,the expression levels of TK1 and TSGF in serum of patients with colorectal cancer were not correlated with pathological type(P> 0.05).?Conclusion?1.The serum TK1,TSGF can be used as a diagnostic indicator of colorectal cancer because them in colorectal cancer group was considerably higher than the expression level of colorectal benign lesions and normal health group, the difference was statistically significant.2.Expression levels of serum TK1 and TSGF in stage ? and IV of colorectal cancer patients were significantly higher than those in stage I and II,but they were not related to pathological type.It is suggested that the expression of serum TK1 and TSGF may reflect the progression of colorectal cancer.3.TK1,TSGF combined detection of colorectal cancer is superior to the detection of single indicators, suggesting that TK1,TSGF combined detection can improve the diagnostic sensitivity of colorectal cancer. They have important clinical significance early for diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
