Objective:To evaluate the association between ambulatory arterial stiffness index(AASI)and coronary heart disease(CHD),and to provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of CHD.Methods:We searched CNKI,WANFANG,VIP databases,CBM,Pub Med,Embase and the Cochrane Library database. To collect the studies about AASI and CAD,then relevant data were extracted.Meta-analysis was carried out by using Review Manager 5.3 software. Results:A total of 17 literatures with 4912 subjects were included in the study.Meta-analysis results were as follows: the AASI of CHD group were higher than that of normal control group, the difference was significant [MD=0.05,P<0.00001].The loss of safety coefficient was 194,indicating that the results of Meta-analysis had a good reliability.Further subgroup analysis was carried out according to the number of diseased branches. The results shows that: In addition to the single branch disease group and the normal control group had no significant difference,[MD=0.01,P>0.05],the difference between other groups were significant(MD=0.06,0.09,0.05,0.08,0.03,P<0.05).Conclusion:There was a association between AASI and CHD,and as the severity of CHD increased, the association between AASI and CHD was stronger.
