Object:This study is to explore the expression of Tim-3 in villous tissues and levels of sTim-3in peripheral blood of patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion. Methods:Selection from February 2016 to August 2016 patients with a history of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, confirmed by the inevitable abortion, incomplete abortion or missed abortion as experimental group;meanwhile, selection early pregnant women who mean to have a abortion and no history of adverse pregnancy as control group. The protein level and location of Tim-3 in villous tissues of the experimental group and control group were measured with immunohistochemistry technique;Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method was used for detection of serum soluble Tim-3(sTim-3)of the two groups;the statistical method is two independent sample t-test.The data was analyzed by statistical software, measurement data with mean±standard deviation.Sample mean using two independent sample t-test.If P<0.05,the difference has a significance in statistics. Results:The average gray value of Tim-3 in villous tissues of the experimental group was179.79±9.37,and the mean positive cells rate was 89.88±12.29,which show the expression of Tim-3 was stronger than that of the control group(the average gray value was192.10±11.78,and the mean positive cells rate was 63.60±31.88)(P<0.05);and the level of sTim-3 of the experimental group(which was 138.64±39.66pg/ml)was obviously higher than the other group(which was 101.32±29.94pg/ml)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tim-3 and sTim-3 might participate in the genesis of early unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion.
