A Retrospective Analysis Of The Cost-effective Analysis Of The 95 Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis In Out-patients Department

Background:Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease,leading pain,morning stiffness,progressive joint destructions and deformity and threatening the mental and physical health tremendously.Enormous social price could be paid by the loss of the ability to work as well as the early retirement.Current treatment mainly include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs,glucocorticoid,biologic products and so on.Phamacoeconomics is a newly appeared inter-discipline,which is mainly used for the description and analysis of the cost and effect of the therapies of drugs and the services of pharmacy and the influences to the society as well as the individual health care system.Methods:Collect and record the data,general conditions and the states of the 95 cases that receive one of the 6 treatment strategies in their first visit which includes the single usage of Leflunomide,the combination of Methotrexate and Leflunomide,the combination of Methotrexate and Yisaipu,the combination of Leflunomide and Yisaipu,the combination of Methotrexate,Leflunomide and Yisaipu,the combination of Methotrexate,Leflunomide and Enli.Keeping close follow-up then.We collected the data of every subject at his first,month 3's and month 6's visit respectively and made a retrospective analysis when the survey ended.Results:When it comes to the DAS28 score,the LEF+Yisaipu group,the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu group and the MTX+LEF+Enli group have the best curative effect and the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu and MTX+LEF+Enli have when it comes to the HAQ score.When the criteria is HAQ score,the best curative effect appears in the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu group and the MTX+LEF+Enli group no matter when the course of treatment is 3months or 6 months.The total cost of the MTX+Yisaipu group,the LEF+Yisaipu group,the MTX+ LEF+Yisaipu group and the MTX+LEF+Enli group is lower in the former 3months than the latter(P <0.05).Only the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu group had the lowest cost-effective ratio in 6 months course of therapy when using DAS28 score for evaluation and had the lowest in 3 months course of therapy when using HAQ score.Conclusion:The best treatment strategy may be the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu and MTX+LEF+Enli when dealing with RA patients.In the 6 months course of treatment,the total cost may be ascending with time in the MTX+Yisaipu strategy,the LEF+Yisaipu strategy,the MTX+LEF+Yisaipu strategy and the MTX+LEF+Enli strategy.Regardless of whether the criteria is the DAS28 score or the HAQ score,the 3 or 6 months MTX+LEF+Yisaipu therapy has the best cost-effectiveness.
