Cost Effectiveness Analysis Of Bayesian Mixed Treatment Comparison In Rheumatoid Arthritis' Drug

Objective: Rheumatoid arthritis which has a long course of disease and high morbidity and disability,not only reduced the happiness index of individuals of families,but also brings heavy economic burden to the country.With the advent of new drugs,it has become an urgent problem that how to choose the best drugs which could be alleviated the symptoms and reduced the economic burden to balance the cost and effect among lots of drugs treating rheumatic arthritis.In order to study the Bayesian mixed treatment comparison(MTC)prospect in China,we sorted out the domestic development and applications of MTC and introduced the basic principles,advantages and application prospects briefly.Take the example of the drugs in the treatment for rheumatoid arthritis,in order to explain how to apply the MTC to the evaluation which could be made a pharmacoeconomics evaluation of drug efficacy,safety and economy.So we can broaden the research ideas of pharmacoeconomics,provide reference for model selection,provide information for clinical rational use of drugs and the relevant departments to formulate policies,and provide theoretic support to policymakers for making reasonable decisions.Method: Retrieval and screening related clinical randomized controlled trials,we construct a random effect model to evaluate the projects above by using Win BUGS1.4.3 software.Result: In the example of drugs treating rheumatic arthritis evaluation,has 22 literatures were included after the search and the selection,and then the extracted data was analyzed through Bayesian mixed treatment comparison.It was found that the drugs could be ranked of each efficacy index: for the reduction of by ranking the and screening literature,finally in the study,the collection and collation of ESR,compound traditional Chinese medicine decoction and Chinese herbal medicine compound preparation were the best,and NSAID was the worst;for the response rate,compound traditional Chinese medicine decoction was the best,and NSAID was the worst.Conclusion: Bayesian MTC,an extension approach of the traditional Meta-analysis,is an effective new method developed recently to analyze and compare the direct or indirect evidences of several different clinical treatment factors in order to make a comprehensive evaluation of the various interventions in the absence of evidence support.So the Bayesian MTC can make up for the limitation of current research methods.
