Objective: To explore the factors affecting the quantitative bone mineral density of neonates by measuring the bone density of newborns hospitalized in a hospital in Chengdu. Methods: The data of newborns were selected according to the order of hospital number by random sampling,The bone mineral density of the tibia was measured by the UBS-3000 PLUS quantitative ultrasound bone density system. Finally 127 sets of data that met the requirements were screened out.The 14 factors were analyzed by SPSS software, and the influential factors were screened out.The results of further significant linear regression analysis were used to obtain the most significant influencing factors. Results: In the 127 data of the experimental analysis, the bone SOS was 2992.57 ± 298.38 m / sec.The results showed that gestational age?t = 6.24,P<0.0001?,birth weight?t = 0.64,P <0.0001?,and maternal convulsion?t =-2.12,P= 0.04?had a significant effect on neonatal tibial bone mineral density. The result showed that gestational age and birth weight were the most significant factors by multivariate linear regression analysis. The regression equation was as follow: Y = 2024.99 + 121.18 X1?gestational age?+0.28 X3?birth weight?.Conclusion: The gestational age and birth weight are significant positive correlations to neonatal bone mineral density in Chengdu.Full-term gestational age and high birth weight are greatly significant to individual skeletal development.
