Objective:Through observing the level of blood β2 microglobulin(β2-MG)、Cystatin C(CysC)and 24-hour proteinuria before and after oral N-acetylcysteine(NAC)tablets therapy for obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)patients,we preliminary explored whether NAC could protect the kidney, and whether the effect was related with the medication time. Methods:The study collected 83 cases of moderate and severe OSAS patients, the serological index meeting β2-MG>2.64mg/L,CysC>1.03mg/L and 24 hour urinary protein quantity>150mg and AHI≥15 times/min diagnosed by polysomnography monitoring, went into the second hospital of Shanxi Medical University for the unexplained proteinuria between January 2014 to March 2016.We randomly divided 43 patients into the CPAP treatment group, and 40 patients into the NAC treatment group to observe the blood β2-MG、CysC and 24-hour proteinuria changes before and after treatment at the end of 3 months,6months.Results:There was no difference between the two groups for the β2-MG、CysC levels and24-hour proteinuria before treatment(P>0.05);2.The differences were statistically significant between the two group after treatment(P<0.05);3.There was a negativecorrelation between the β2-MG、CysC levels and 24-hour proteinuria and treatment time(correlation coefficient r =-0.517、-0.594、-0.758,-0.605、-0.605、-0.815,P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The preliminary confirmation is that NAC could improve the oxidative stress reaction in OSAHS patients,to some extent,to treat or prevent the complications of the early renal injury2.The treatment effect was positive correlation with the time of medication.
