Kawasaki disease is an acute self-limited vasculities of unknown etiology that occurs predominantly in infants and young children. If it is not treated early with high dose intravenous immunoglobulin,1 in 5 children develop coronary artery aneurysm.Kawasaki disease is the most common acquired heart disease in children in developing countries.Coronary artery aneurysm is an uncommon condition that can be cause of death when it thrombosis or ruptures. In this study the articles focusing on treatment and prognosis of coronary artery aneurysm in Kawasaki disease are included. The age group selected was below eighteen.Only full text articles, which are in English, are included. This paper reviews about the different treatment done for coronary artery aneurysm in Kawasaki disease like coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary artery bypass grafting, and transcatheter treatment and their prognosis. The short-term outcomes with these treatments are excellent. However the long-term prognosis is still unclear in some studies so follow up is essential.
