Objective: To understand the implementation effects on the quality of life of the adolescent leukemia children in chemotherapy under the humanistic nursing management model,improve the prognosis and the quality of life.Methods: As a case-control study,this paper adopts 97 cases of adolescent children in chemotherapy from Children Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University,understand the current quality of life and their problems of the adolescent leukemia children in chemotherapy through the survey results before intervention of the basic information questionnaire and?The Quality of Life Scale for Leukemia Children of Different Ages?of pre designed of research group,and combined with the semi-structured interviews on children's quality of life covering five aspects(physiology,mental emotion,social interaction,environment,and school/role).The holistic nursing management model is applied according to the results and all the indicators of the quality of life are examined after 3 months.Results:(1)The total score of the leukemia children(10-12 years old)before the intervention is 153.69±14.23 and;after the intervention,the total score is 186.29±9.90,with the increase of 12.54%(P<0.05).The total score of the leukemia children(13-18 years old)before the intervention is 143.92±15.14 and after the intervention,the total score is 178.49±9.51 with the increase of 13.83%.Among them,the mental emotion and social interaction improve most evidently.(2)First-class index: All the scores has obvious difference(P<0.05).1).Physiology: compared with the score of 42.17±7.12 before the intervention,it rises to 53.02±5.38 of the 10-12 group with the increase of 13.56%.Compared with 50.13±7.63 before the intervention,the score of the 13-18 group is 58.05±5.87 after the intervention with the increase of 8.80%.2).Mental emotion: the total score of the 10-12 group is 44.62±3.54,compared with the total score of 35.93±6.00 with the increase of 14.48%.The total score of the 13-18 group is 35.69±3.48,compared with 23.95±3.77 before intervention with the increase of 26.09%.3).Social interaction: the total score of 10-12 group is 29.91±4.73 after the intervention,compared with 24.38±5.91 before the intervention with the increase of 13.83%.The total score of 13-18 group is 26.87±3.75 after the intervention compared with 19.59±4.63 before the intervention with the increase of 20.80%.4).Environment: the total score of 10-12 group is 35.19±3.65 after the intervention compared with the 29.24±2.94 before the intervention with the increase of 13.22%.The total score of 13-18 group is 34.82±3.06 after intervention compared with 29.23±3.57 before the intervention with the increase of 12.42%.5).School/ role: the total score of 10-12 group is 23.55±4.14 after the intervention compared with the21.97±4.18 before the intervention with the increase of 4.40%.The total score of 13-18 group is 23.05±3.05 after the intervention compared with the 21.03±2.93 before the intervention with the increase of 5.77%.The lowest score of 10-12 group is physiology aspect both before and after intervention with the highest score in environment aspect.Before the intervention,the lowest score of 13-18 group is mental emotion aspect and the highest score is environment aspect.However,after the intervention,the lowest score is physiology aspect and the highest score is mental emotion aspect.(3)The second-class index: the increase ranges from high to low before and after the intervention for the 10-12 years old leukemia children among all the dimensions: family environment(17.52%),self-assessment(17.23%);communicating ability(14.55%)the rankings for the 13-18 group from high to low are : self-assessment(26.07%),family environment(24.40%),communicating ability(22.07%).The lowest increase rankings for the 10-12 group before and after the intervention are: independent ability(3.70%),performance in school(1.27%);the lowest increase rankings for the 13-18 group are: performance in school(2.25%),independent ability(2.20%).Among them,there is no obvious difference(P>0.05)for the leukemia children before and after the intervention in the school performance.(4)Third-class index: there is no obvious difference on parts of the factors(P>0.05): the weaker performance for the two group leukemia children in the school activity than the peers,the absence from class for the illness,the great help of the medical insurance in relieving the economical burden.For the 10-12 group,there is no obvious difference(P>0.05)for the leukemia children to obtain care and help from parents;for the 13-18 group,there is no obvious difference(P>0.05)in feeding,using the toilet,taking a bath and the great help of the social donation for easing the burden.Conclusion: The holistic nursing management model can significantly improve the life quality of the children with leukemia chemotherapy during puberty from the body-mind-agency-spirit etc.using a variety of methods of psychological intervention can relieve anxiety and depression in children with leukemia,effectively,improve the prognosis,improve the quality of life,let leukemia children return to society as soon as possible.
