ObjectiveA retrospective study of radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of children with recurrent paroxysmal tachycardia and recurrence cases with radiofrequency ablation treatment again. Objective to discuss the causes of recurrence of children with paroxysmal tachycardia treated by catheter, and to provide some useful experience for ablation therapy.MethodsA retrospective study was performed on 132 patients with supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular arrhythmia in 10 patients from October 2004 t-September 2016 in our center.15 cases were recurrented and 3cases were failed.7 recurrent cases were treated with secondary ablation, who were male patients, the ages were 5 years to 12 years 7months old, average of 8.7± 3 years old, with an average weight of30±8.4kg(20kg to 44kg).Results142 cases acute success rate was 97.9%,postoperative recurrence in15 cases, the failure of the operation in the case of 3 cases, the recurrence rate was 10.6%.In 18 cases, there were 12 male and 6 female, with a meanage of 9.46±3.20 years old(5 ~14.5years old).7 cases of atrioventricular nodal reentrant, recurrence time in 10 days to 1.5 years,2 cases of left accessory pathways,6 cases of right accessory pathways,3 cases of ventricular tachycardia.18 cases of heart palpitations as the main performance of the 12 cases, with pale and sweating in the case of patients with palpitation, nausea, vomiting and other gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with a total of 2 cases of patients with symptoms of gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with heart disease, and other symptoms of gastrointestinal symptoms in 7 cases.1 cases with syncope as the main performance;in the case of the performance of the discomfort in the precordial region, the precordial area of the sense of malaise, fatigue and other performance of the 5.6 cases of arrhythmia induced by upper respiratory tract infection, arrhythmia induced by strenuous exercise, and arrhythmia induced by emotional stress in 1 cases. There were 5 cases of recurrence after radiofrequency catheter ablation because of the upper respiratory tract infection, and the other one was caused by severe activity, which was caused by cardiac arrhythmia in 1 cases. The recurrence rate of7 cases of recurrence was 100%,followed up for 30 ± 17 months(12months~59months).4 cases of the first bypass path for the ablation of atrioventricular nodal reentrant, including 1 cases of standard ablation of idiopathic ventricular measuring path for the source of the left posterior fascicular tachycardia;1 cases of left accessory pathway;2 cases of the right accessory pathways,1 cases with frequent premature beats and left ventricular chamber enlargement,1 cases after the first operation is still with preexcitation syndrome,1 years after re-operation was three tricuspid regurgitation, postoperative QT value, heart rate variability difference.ConclusionMelting incompletely and neglecting potential residual path may leadto recurrence of paroxysmal tachycardia in children.
