Objective: 1.to explore the relationship between the anatomic and TCM theory and meaning of body in TCM theory by understanding meaning of Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view 2.To explore the body essence of some theoretical contents of Chinese Medicine,and explains the theoretical characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine by using Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view.Methods: put forward the concept of Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view by understanding the essence of Tang Rongchuan’s idea of “Huitong”(fusion);and then take Hexinshi’s "five books" as an example,on the basis of content characteristics of Western medicine that Tang Rongchuan contact,and combines the characteristics of the development of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,give a detail explanation of Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view;finally in view of the existing problems in the theory of traditional Chinese medicine related to physique,to explore the use of of Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view.Results: the essence of "Huitong"(fusion)of traditional Chinese medicine and Western Medicine that Tang Rongchuan’s propose is the connotation of Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view that the paper discussed;Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view shows that the anatomical form is an important part of TCM theory,and it can well solve the problems of the essence of form in traditional Chinese medicine theory.Conclusion: Tang Rongchuan’s "body-Qi" view,provides ideas for the understanding of relationship between anatomical form and gasification of Chinese medicine theory,worthy of attention;the body essence is the fundamental problem in the development of Chinese medicine to solve,at the same time,it is a great help to the discipline construction of physiology of traditional Chinese Medicine.
